It was a very high standard game Neeber and for once you didn't injure anyone. It was a little as predicted, my big Hippos did the work and a 14.0 rating for Daikite was nice. While your guards kept you in the game. Don't be too harsh on Gibney he did keep my PGs to a combined 0-10 shooting although 33 mins of that was Presley my new trainee.

It was nice not seeing Tambyraja as that may have made the match very close although he did jack up 10 ugly shots in his 14 minutes and only hit 1.

I spend $10,000 a week on the draft. I spent $20,000 a week last season and even spent $40,000 twice at the end of the season to check out a last couple of potentials. I hope I will be picking last this season and expect to be picking in the last 6 so it isn't a great investment this year and we have Harris and Presley now to train anyway.

What is amazing is how little money everyone is making. I have a fairly expensive roster I think and yet I am making well above the league average. (League Average Net Income: $ 61 565 )

I agree, we can cope with a loss here and there, the goal is not one game but a championship!

I applaud your big men they are certainly a force to be reckoned with and will be interesting for our eventual rematch for the 2nd last game of the season.

I am not being hard on Kerry, I would harder had I actually worked on his OD for training but still getting JS up atm but if Neil had been the pg it would have been different as he would have stopped majority of your plays before they begin as look inside requires a pg with good passing to get it inside and a def pg with a good od can stop most of it which unfortunately Kerry doesn't have.

I am spending 5K on draft this season as I have 3 PG's I am still training!!! I am currently earning about 55K per week but I expect that to not be the case next season if I am still in this league as all 3 pg will have a massive salary jump if I keep pounding their primaries.

Neeber

When the Beasts Roar all in the way shall be struck down!!!!!

"Typical Weekly Net Income: $ 91 087"

We will not be so badly off next season as now we are training some new players and some big Hippos in their outside skills. However if we are stopped by you or Rad or someone before we can make the finals we will be making a couple of hard calls. We have some fond players that are dragging us back already.

i am pretty happy with my economy at the moment, and think i am still 2 seasons away from a BIG salary hike with my trainees...

Player salaries - about 28k per week below league average
staff salaries - right on league average
scouting - 20k (i think 40k is a waste.. 3 players for 20k, 1 player extra for 20k? pass...)

Last attendance - 15k above league ave
Merch - just above league average

Net weekly income - 96,812

The other thing tho Neebs, is scouting points carry over.. so even if not planning on doing much scouting this season, to carry over 20-30 points this season into next will make next season scouting a breeeeeeze :D

There have been a lot of purchases this last week or so.

$1,000,000 Orange Spartans Seran Helmink (14840007) Weekly salary: $ 32 405 Age: 22 Potential: perennial allstar
$650,000 Orange Spartans Martino Vallebona (8936161) Weekly salary: $ 17 070 Age: 26
$550,000 SammyDog Miftahul Indarto (9599374) Weekly salary: $ 42 775 Age: 26
$350,000 Wagadugu Hippopotamuses Emmanuel Gnazo (2230850) Shooting Guard Weekly salary: $ 23 561 Age: 33

That cuts down my weekly profit a bit but he gives me a guard whose scoring I doubt anyone in this league except maybe Miftahul Indarto and a couple of others can stop.

Looks like the Orange Spartins are a lot tougher all of a sudden, typical, just before they play me! Beasts and Rad get to spank them by 20-40, I doubt that will be the case for me.

I still think you'll beat me by more than 20. However it will be interesting to see how competitive I am against the great 8 conference over the next few weeks. I reckon I'll be finishing 6th in the Big 8 which will mean a relegation playoff but I'm hoping I've done enough to be able to win that.

Happy to get the cup game win tonight, but my cup run is definitely over.. picked up a strong div 2 opponent in the next round, so here the strategy changes.. it was certainly fun whilst it lasted tho!

Can't believe i lost to C-cat by 2points in the cup game.
shoulda played CT :P

actually i was meant to lose by a lot more, but i've made the classic mistake of not actually setting my line up.
my GS will probably take a hit now with 3 players getting over 100minutes this week :(

hopefully i can still compete a bit with Beasts and MM, both away games for the rangas!!!

good luck with the training pops guys!
