Hey

I played this guy as Center... The main reason is that I when I read the tactics description and it mentioned 3 pointers and inside shots that he might get a few inside shots. With this tactic I think it is all about the 4 other guys. Look at my game from last night, he barely did anything... So I am quite sure he doesnt need to have driving. I am very curious to see what stats you will get.

In my private game I will try the same tactic again and use Ebertz as Center and see how many assists he gets...

My game (Estonia Cup season 9)
BC Kemp vs. BC Kobakäpp, 9.7.2009 - score 72:69 (away). Bytheway - Kobakäpp manager also is National team manager...

Both centers rating 10,5. But not score mutch - 4-8 points per face.
Offcause i used Princeton especially against strong fysical teams (and if i propose low tempo is good). My centers have good pass, and also good if PF players also have good passing. And position 1-3 must be good shooters 3 range.
(Sorry my bad english)
Summary. About 10 times maybe i risked and used princeton and 8 times i won this game; and last 5.
Al.
PS! My team sitting on IV league, but i played BB about a year (III league final two times). IV league beacause my wife fired all my players (...) at one f...king night and i must do new start on BB..))

whats cool about my private league game today and doing the princeton offense, is i scrimmaged the same team that im playing last thursday and destroyed them playing run & gun, so then i can really see what a difference as far as effectiveness the princeton offense is for me based off ratings and end result.

I believe one thing you should consider is that when deviating from base offense, the game engine will let certain positions take on modified roles. The key to understanding offensive tactics in BB is to find out what positions will be altered in a given tactic and what skills will be more or less important for these modified roles (the differences are not huge however). In this case, I believe that SF and C will do roughly what they do in base offense, because that already fits well to Princeton - maybe they'll do less of it though. However PG, SG and PF will be used in modified ways.

The reason why many managers cursed Princeton early on is probably that they did not understand what skills should be strengthened at these positions for playing the tactic successfully... I've come to love it by the way, even though I don't have specialised players for it (yet) - it suffices that, as somebody said earlier, many teams are badly equipped to defend this.

Any other tips fot to these positions or skills you want to share? I think we are understanding a reasonable role assgined to C and PF.
