yeah, congrats Joe!! I know how hard it is to win it twice in a row.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I am still trying to understand how, with the so huge difference in the stats (team and individual), the result can be such as this one... ununderstandable... In such a situation i can only be disappointed as you can imagine... Everything is there except the most important...the result...

Nevertheless, Congrats to Jo!

:((

well, I think you are right. I also think if you replay this game 10 times, you win at least 7. BUT, I also understand how it was possible.

Your offensive tactic killed you here.

While your inside offense was strong enough on it's own, you still chose inside offense, strenghtening it. But by doing so, you weakened your outside attack. This resulted in your team taking and making very few 3 point shots.

Vottem on the other hand, had the best match-up if it's players took outside shots. By making a few more outside shots, they gained the edge, and then in late game, the forced fouls and the extra fre throws vottem took made the difference.

This said, you also had bad luck with your 2-point shots, if a few more had gone in, votem wouldn't have the slight lead, and by making enough of those 2-pointers, the situation could have been just the opposite...

So even though you probably would have won this game, I still think you gave a opportunity away here, and vottem took the little chance you offered them. A normal, or even and outside offense would have left vottem pretty chanceless (as in only 1 chance in 20 to win, while now, as I see it, you gave him 2 in 10).

Does this make sence? Or am I hallucinating? ;)

it makes sense indeed... but it remains very strange to me nevertheless considering the huge difference in the summary figures.
Moreover, looking at the DMI, taking into consideration the 5 main players (who played more than 40 minutes in avg) the total was 1,7 Mio Vs 0,8 Mio.... So it means that this does not represent anything or what? 4 players had a DMI higher than their direct opponent and one had about the same. the form was better for all the players compared to their opponents... And contrarly to what Jo told... soria is not weak in defence...and so the result of the chorev is unexpected and unexpectable.... Sure that the presence of pruna would have help the result to be different too... but even without that it should logically (due to all the mentionned elements) have been different... so is there an element of unregularity in the equation of the motor of the game that can come out unexpectantly...?
All this will of not change the history and even if it's a pitty for me and leave me with some unexplained questions... The winner is nevertheless great and worth it in regards of what he is doing with his team and with the National team!
Good luck for the playoffs... to all the ones who will have the chance to take part!!!

shoot; maybe we can try to answer.

I agree the result was likely to be different, yet it wasn't so impossible, so yes, unexpected, weak engine? certainly not. It's these kind of things that make the game exiting. If the team with the highest winning-chance always wins, there is not much fun to the game.

Also, as Joe said, I do not know his players and their skills, and I believe him if he says they have to do with it too.

Finally about DMI: forget about it! it is short for Deliberatly MeaningLESS Index.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

For the DMI I'm totally agree, only the salary can be helpfull and even in this case you can do a lot of errors ...

You have to analyse the players of the others teams with them stats and others :p
