Actually, I believe I read a BB saying that the skill cap is not at all connected to salary, only to the skill set. But, as both the cap system and the salary system uses approximately the same calculations, a rough guideline is using salaries for cap levels.

And to D.Mirovlajeic or whatever your name is. Yep, but not everything. At age 20, training does slow down. I heard that from somewhere.


Training slows down with every year, it has nothing to do with the age of 20.

players with 23-24 years in NT teams can have pop ups every week....
and no it doesn't have anything to do with them being in NT
I personally would train even a 26 year old if he has potential and my NT needs him, and I know people that do, and they get pop ups....

And I haven't really noticed a huge difference between 19 and 20... I'd sooner say I saw no difference...

Really a 26 yo?

I think my limit would be around 25, but if someone with your experience says its still valuable to train them past that age then i'd consider it.

The thing is i would be more likely to get another trainee by the time my main one is 25, considering my backup/s would be maybe a year older/younger.

But i'm currently training a player i hope will make it to the NT team one day, so i'm training him for the long term and am concentrating on his secondaries now rather than his big man skills as they are easier to train now and big man skills can be trained later as he is tall. By long term i mean the proper NT team not the U21, although it would be nice if he made it in the U21 team :)

Sadly his potential will limit him to only a few more years of training. P.Allstar btw
