That's the juicy gossip I've been sitting on since the end of last season. I didn't share because i figure it gave me a bit of a competitive advantage to have inside info. I was wondering when someone was going to notice.

Yes, Big Bucks is no longer playing, he has been trying to decide when he was going to quit for the last two season, but held off in hopes of making a run at the finals and Div. 1.

Anyways, he felt like he was floating in the top 4 and that it will be difficult to win the finals even if he were to make it because there are so many of us that are beating each other up in our conference that we wouldnt get Home Court regardless of who made it.

The funny thing is he changed his password so he couldn't get on (he was an addict to BB), and now is going through withdraws.

Well sad to see the guy go.. but he could've atleast set his lineup to lucky fans or something =p

Its just funny an inactive team is leading our conference and will probably most of the way lol.

Well, if nobody else is going to ask, I will: what is NY Wahoos doing? Team salary now at $600K, absolutely no bench, and gate receipts of $278K. The TV contract is $122K, and their merchandise revenue can't be more than $70K. Even if we assume no scouting and level 1 staff, that's a loss of $135K a week before the cup game.

I guess this is a go-for-broke strategy to get back to the NBBA, but if unsuccessful -- one injury away from potential disaster -- that's exactly what the Wahoos will be next season: broke.

I have no clue what they are up to.. With no bench means they will have to throw some league games just to stay alive in the cup, doing that will put him further away from the finals..
And if he forgets about the cup and pushes for the league finals.. Still a dangerous game playing those 5 players all game, every game, puts them at a very high risk of injury..
Good luck with that. I just saw the results of playing someone all game last night, lost one of my trainees to a week of injury

I figured we'd put the start of the season's salaries here, and then post the end of season's as well. Notice the Great 8 has the team with the highest overall in NY Wahoos and the higher average. Will this be indicative of things to come when inter-conference play kicks off? Also, will this tell us anything about who finishes where?

Fourth... I added a player as well and am about $700 higher than you. However, the season already started, so I don't think it should be updated.

Well, you can have 3rd lol.
I'd prefer I didn't have as high a team salary but I dont think I could get the performance I needed if I had any less =/

Well, I'm not going to update it every time of of use makes a transfer. In a perfect world maybe....

I will update it before the ASB and before the playoffs, but that's it.

Wow. I knew I'd be outmatched when I promoted, and it was reinforced when I saw how many national team players are in this division, but this thread almost makes me cry. You guys that track all of this stuff and post about it are great, but could you please start a thread tracking something that doesn't make me look pathetic? ;)
