While your team is a playing very well, you are in a very weak league, full of weak low salary(even for Divsion 5) plsyers. If you promote, you will be blown out of the waters.
Check the Suggestions they are important

Yeah, i know i won't win in a stronger league, but right now i'm just training players so my team can improve. I'm building for the future, not really worried about winning right now though. I'm trying to get all of my players who are under 25 years old, in certain abilities that i like for certain positions, to respectable or higher.

Cut your roster down to 11-12 players. that will help a lot.

I love coaches lacking common sense, it makes it easier for me to win.

You should only have 3 trainable players (or 6 if you do the IMO worse 2 position option). It's perfectly fine to have older players as long as you're not spending time training them.

Yeah, i don't train older players, the thing i enjoy the most about this game is the training of players and seeing them improve.

Brain Buster - everyone seems to have advise on how to manage your roster, so I will not chime in there.
Instead, I will offer to you a valuable suggestion that will potential reap much benefit to you: when you have money, consider investing it into your arena, instead of acquiring young players. Your arena is your lifeblood, and you have only added 5 seats to date. For now, build some lower tier, courtside and maybe a couple of luxury boxes. Also lower your bleachers price so that you can fill all those seats, and then start adding lots of bleachers.
Once you have this set up right, then start acquiring players - once the revenue piles in, your will find managing your finances much easier.

I did this also. for the first 1/5 seasons I 2 Pos trained. I am currently single training my 2 trainees. single position training seems to go quite a bit faster for me.
