You've obviously never seen a Scot Pollard play basketball.

Or Louis Amundson.

And Kendrick Perkins is a decent passer/shooter by amateur standards, not by KG standards.

Ben Wallace had a career fg of 48%. 48%. Not 40. Big difference. No NBA team would put up with a player having a career fg of <40. Yet you can find numerous such examples in this game. At the top level.

I have. Trust me, he's not into Reggie Evans territory. Reggie is in a class of his own.

Isn't 30% shooting for a starting center a bit low, just a bit? Regardless of what shots he's taking.

212 9-25 1-7 8-9 3 19 23 12 7 5 17 27 TOTALS

he has 3 JS but half-decent IS (he's a PG). 25 shots in 212 minutes @ .360, I can live with.

While the defensive specialist jacks up 3s with 10 left on the clock.
that's all to do with offensive flow and experience across the five on court.

I'm not talking about rookies.

Shooting a 3 with 10 left on the clock when you're a less than average shooter and you have a player on the far side who is stupendous at it makes no sense. Unless you think you've suddenly been transported into the twilight zone.

2 problems here with your logic:

1. Can the average shooter guy get the ball to the stupendous shooter to begin with?? If he can't then the average shooter takes the ball...still better than no shot at all.

2. Is the stupendous shooter marked? If he is marked by another good defender, he might not be the best player to take the shot either. Its all about match ups.

It looks like this discussion is pretty much a waste of time. This guy has his mind set on something, and everyone who begs to differ is "misunderstanding" him.

There are 10 seconds left I said. 10. Neither you nor the stupendous shooter is paralyzed or petrified. Move. Pass to the guy next to you, he may not be stupendous but he's still better than you are. Or trip over your defender's leg and break your jaw in the proces. Just don't shoot.
