Isolation always means that you need one very strong, balanced player, as well as several role players.

An inside Iso Big Man should be dominant in the paint (i.e., very high IS), as well as having high driving, handling and passing, and potentially JS if he fails to get to the rim. The Wings will need high JR and JS, but little else offensively.

similarly, an outside Iso Wing player needs to have high passing, driving, handling, JS and probably JR. IS wouldn't hurt either. The complementing Big Men will need little driving or passing, but should be able to knock down Jump Shots or dunk (IS).

My (small) experience on the outside iso is that GE is looking for the best match up JS vs OD, so if your guard for example 17 JS going against 15 OD, and your C has 8 JS going against 1 OD then the big man will get lots of JS. A good example is my today game: (30650003). My C had 10-12 shots, and i know that the opponent C OD is 1. For the record my C has 1 on DR. Ive seen that kind of production in several games too, so i have good evidences to back up my opinion Still is highly possible to be wrong, my samples arent that much...

I suspect that inside iso is similar but you need IS to make it work. It will be real helpful when the BB's announce the pace of those offenses, since the slower the more passing you need.

I cant say anything about the box offenses since i didnt test them and i dont plan to do it soon...

Based on what? Nobody can claim something like that so early, and passing is very useful on every tactic. Iso is not based on one player as i said on my previous post...

Anyone who pretends to know what these tactics do difinitively at this point is pulling your chain.

That's pretty much what I thought.

no one really knows the GE expect for the BBs but they are too greedy to tell the rest of us. :D

If I want to play an offense like the Houstan Rockets did in their hay day (dump ball into post and hav ea lot of three point shooters). What is the best fit for that? I have been doing princton and that seems to work ok but my PF takes a lot of threes which I dont like.

I did try low post, but I was only taking like 2-3 threes a game total. My inside players did put up good numbers though.
