I played against the same team in league and won with 3-2, and I lost with bigger ent. in playoffs when I played M2M.

m2m. The logic was to get a real edge on the glass. High tempo game should provide many RB opportunities, but he surprised me with 2-3 zone.

Thank you for your replies!

Yeah, I saw it went "lepo" vs. Klenik, ha. Seriously I-3-1 is horrible.

What?
Because I think the GE is more designed for soccer than basketball.

Why do you think this? The guys that designed this game had hoops in mind from the get-go.

In a zone good defenders in a zone near the rim is good defence/rebouding

Please edit this so that it makes even a bit of sense.

I really have no clue what you are trying to say here even though I have tried very hard to understand what it you mean.

Your final paragraph I sort of understand and I disagree with you. Of course OD is more important for guards and RB is more important for big men, no matter what defensive tactic you are playing. That's how basketball works in general- guards play on the perimeter and big men play in the post. If you want to give me examples of how it doesn't work like that, I can give you 100 to every 1 that says it does.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

That what exactly my logic if you play against R'n'G, cause you know for sure your bigs will be spread playing m2m. But you still get a better RB ratings than 3-2. And if one argues that in m2m you have a better control of your man and it's easier to box out, why would you get an increased RB rating in 2-3 zone. Often you see attackers flying left and right to snap RBs vs 2-3 (which is the one zone D that played most), cause it's harder to keep track of attackers.
I agree that ID improves with 2-3 zone, but RB? Not so sure.

I think that, traditionally, the 2-3 zone was played to keep teams from exploiting the inside game by playing three players across the block. This makes it much easier to form the rebounding triangle ( I found a short explanation here (http://www.coachesclipboard.net/ZoneRebounding.html)). In a 3-2 this is not as easy to do. In man to man the rebounding is up to the individual matchup.

".. approximately 70% of missed shots from the corner go to the opposite side." Still they want to rotate their other big man to the first side, rotating a wing to fight for 70% of rebounds taken from the corner.
I thought you'd rotate wings to close down a corner shot in 3-2 zone..
