It isn't unrealistic. You campare players to Dwight Howard. But 99% of players in BB aren't like DH ;-) They are very weak and without experience.
When I was in primary school I had in my class mate, who was one head taller than all other children in school. When we played basketball he won 80% of rebounds, but he had very weak technic. And when he run to counterattack, he scared to drive into basket and always tried 3 points throw ;-) Always, even if nearest guard was 5 meters behind him ;-) It was comic, but nobody could convince him that sure 2 points after clear position are better than 3 points attempt ;-)
And over than 90% of players in BB are similar ;-) They have hot blood instead of cold head ;-)

And also we're not talking about 10 year old children though that likes to shoot 3points just because he gets more credit if he scores. We're talking about professional players. Have you seen any C from the minor leagues in your coutntry take more 3p shots than the SG? Most likely they won't even try one because they know there are players more skilled than them and if he does, the coach will shout at him. :/
The only reason DH and all the professional C take those shoots is because they feel confident to do so.

He will take it, but why does he have to make it? If your JS is awful you shouldn't consistently be making open shots, never mind contested, be it poorly.
It feels as though my PF's atrocious OD, suddenly turns awful shooters into Ray Allen.

well although it is offtopic, I have to comment on this.
Do you pay for google services?? No, but if your gmail account somehow gets erased (something like that recently happened), you'll get frustrated of course.
The revenue model of almost 80% of the websites, is advertising and freemium models.
We do not pay but that doesn't mean that you are not user of buzzerbeater. And just like a real business, bb's if they want to make money, they have to keep the pageviews as high as possible. So they want you and you, you pay indirectly.
Just because the revenue model is different it doesn't mean that because you don't pay them, you can't claim some things from the game. Buzzerbeater is a Limited Liability Company and that means that they are making profit and they have to pay taxes. If they didn't care about the money, they wouldn't have founded Digital Field Theory LLC (The buzzerbeater company)

Don't think that just because you don't pay for something you can't claim things. Buzzerbeater is earning money from you even if that's through advertising.
Not to mention about the Supporter option. Well most of the websites also have 1 revenue channels. And buzzerbeater has 2!!!!!!!! Do you really think that they do not work full time????

I specifically remember that they wanted to hire a full time coder for the website and that they had posted an announcement for that during the offseason 14.
