Are you currently training any other players and do you want to continue training these players next season?

If you are training Bigs already go with the big. If you are currently training guards go with the guard. If you are not training anyone go with the position you want to train.

I would definitely go with the guard because:

1) 18yrs old which means 1 more season to train than the C
2) guards tend to be more affordable than C's on the long run unless you opt to train secondaries with the C for 2 or 3 seasons before working on his "salary eaters" inside skills...
3) good C's (meaning good inside skills with mow secondaries...) are currently cheaper on the transfer list than good guards...

My two cents..

dont get too excited - you know you will get good potential but it can b hit and miss with the skills.
it only takes an atrocious OD or JR on a guard to be a real pain in the neck for training. sometimes its better to have average/good across the board with OD and JR than to have all respectables with an atrocious there

Sorry, to spoil your fun, but you'll be picking last! There's a good chance both get picked before even at random. I would look to find a couple of more players I were you, but save the rest of the points for the next draft.

Good chance? If he picks 16th, only 15 of the 48 players are randomly picked before him. So it's actually the opposite, there's a very good chance that at least one of those players will be there at the 16th pick. There's an almost 70% chance that the guy he prefers will still be there and it would be extremely unlucky if they're both off the board in the first 15 picks.

Woah, you're so lucky.. I've used tons of points and the best player I've found this far is 5 balls in skill and 3 in the other.. :(
