hahahah yeh he is an old fellow... i got him @ the ripe old age of 31 years! I like this quote "When this team started I was the best player on it. Sigh. Times have changed but I am still a Goldfish through and through" because that applies to Johnny Robinson as well!
He used to get training at 31 because I didn't understand the whole training process! hahaha. He is only eating $2k salary a week from me so I don't see the harm in keeping him. Actually if you look @ my roster I've got another 2 guys who are aging vets! Rod Peacock(10061240) and Zhuo Xinhao(10061232). Peacock used to be JW's answer to Smeltz and Duffman when they were rookies! hahah

yes instead of hiring and firing guys each week for my scrimmages and keeping my "familiar with star players"rating forever on 1/2 a ball i now have marco and a crappy rookie i drafted as my official scrimmagers and i now get 2 balls there - hopefully makes up for the extra $3k a week for their wages

yeh that's the approach that I have taken as well, usually for my scrimmages I play 4 aging veterans who have been on my team from the beginning along with one of my current trainees. I guess the Scrimmage matches are for the nostalgic fans to watch... ah the memories...
$3k is alright, i fork out about $8-$10k for my vets... well worth it I think, though my rating for familiarity of players is only @ 1 ball! outrageous!!

well it isnt $3 it is $5 but it would cost $2 each week to hire and fir a scrub so the total cost is $3 which i hope is offset by the better fan survey
