Guys, this is not a spam thread. There are plenty of places where you can spam all you want with random chat but keep the NT Election threads on topic and to the point please.

Yes, i've decided to try and go 1 last round as NT manager. Couldn't stand the thought of our famous boxing kangaroo logo being replaced by a "U mad bro?" meme ;)

Any questions for myself or any of the other guys about the NT election to get the proper debate part of this thing going, feel free everyone.

Just a quick question? You are right about what you are saying about the spam in this thread etc but what you wrote could be seen as modding the thread which you can't do either if your running for election?

Don't get me wrong your right what your saying dire prob just get someone else to relay the message?! Just saying...

Btw will you be changing the paint colour in the NT cabin for your third term or is it staying the same??

lol just voted & it was 5 guppies & 1 exguppy running

1 serious question

is there any chance u could expand the number of players on the nt radar? i think there are a bunch of tier 1.5 dudes that could be situationally useful - injuries, gs issues, specific needs 4 specific matches, players that work well with set tactics, specialists, etc

tremell - you're right. That's why i didn't delete the majoirity of this thread ;)

abigfishy - yeah, definitely. I'm always on the lookout for new talent and players that could help the team in different ways. Dee Bana is there for his offense, Cranshaw is there for his defense for example but there aren't really many players out there that have a specific talent that would help the NT without having the rest of their skills too far behind not to hurt in other ways. There does seem to be a bit more of a varied group of prospects coming up at the moment though and that is largely by design through the work of the last couple of terms and directing training this way or that. We should have more options go forward than we have had in the past.

Since you have said that this is going to be your last term as NT manager, have got a plan in place to groom your successor?

Being a NT manager of Australia is no easy task and we need a level headed manager to take over, preferable someone who is experienced and charismatic enough to reach out to 600 odd aussie teams.

You have done a great job in getting us to 8th spot in the rankings and I'd hate to see us slip when we change to a new manager.

There are many good managers who are currently "getting their feet wet" so to speak with overseas U21/NT gigs and will be free to start a changeover process at the end of next season so i don't think it will be that big of a drama when I do "retire" (assuming i get the spot again this season). I've tried to be as open and transparent as i can on the offsite forum with any planning that has gone on but there will be an entire season to go in to a little more depth with little tips and tricks and things like that so more than willing to make any changeover as smooth as possible and keep the Aussie machine rolling.
