Well in my opinion a TRUE PG would differ from team to team depending on what you already have and what you would need from your PG. For example, I need a PG that can simply Pass and defend. A lot of people however you'd like a D-Will type PG that can do it all.

seems that this is the right place to have some tips bout my player whom i am training for PG...
here are his skills...

Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: strong
Driving: average Passing: average
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: average ↑
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: inept

Experience: atrocious

till the last week i was training him for OD but this week I had to shift him to 2 pos training of passing so as to have a chance at the league games...since the next week is an ASW so i will stick to 2 pos pass training(i know that 2 pos will slow down the speed but i have 2 more trainees)...thjen io would train him for 1 more pop in OD followed by pass till prolific....
any suggestions????

I would keep training OD for now as i suspect your player is about 20 - 21 year old and also train the other 2 on one position as you can almost train them a full 48 each week.OD is 2 weeks pop as for passing is about 1.5 weeks.

I have a trainee now that is shaping up to become my starter PG.I'm training OD and will do so until he reaches wondrous and then switch to Passing to get him to at least sensational, and then with scoring.
My point is that OD as all of know is the hardest skill to train, even if some say that JR is the longest training by about 2.5 weeks. But JR is less important in a PG and gives about .35 a week to JS.
Handling and Driving should be your last concern as training One on One or Handling would give you a pop each 2 weeks at most 3 weeks to both skills and some .30 to JS.

Weekly salary: $ 7 410

regarding the age i would tell you that he is 19....
k so my last post didnt quite explain my training plan...
presently i am giving him 2 position training for passing(i know that 2 pos training is 80% as effective as single pos) and this is for the first time in his career that i am giving him 2 pos training for any other skill other than that for JS...the reason for that is that this week i had 2 close matches in order to have the best chance for winning them i changed the lineup which forced me to change the training plan as well....
i had to give a 2 pos training...i usually would have gone for JS but is already at 9 compared to 6 passing(which has high sublevel)...so i decided to give him 2 pos trainig for passing...
and i definatly agree with you on the fact that OD his the hardest to train...when i drafted my trainee he had awful OD and since then he has improved to prominent...
presently my training plan after the allstarweek is to train him in OD till prolific(which would take 1 week) and then passing to prolific...i dont think that this would be achieved by the end of the season so this is how i will train him for the remaining part of the season...

I agree with your 2 position training because of the match situation but i would stick to one position training for the rest to get the best out of any guard.
