No it's not odd, your player isn't 19 or 20 years old anymore. Training obviously takes longer, not to mention the cross training also.

And I also believe the training thread indicates estimates for players who are ~18 with good height for the skill being trained.

We had a noticable decline in training speed on some of our younger NT players this past season-- 23yo, huge potential types that suddenly wouldn't pop after 7-8 weeks of single position primary training. The only explanation we could come up with is that the cross-training slow-down becomes *much* more dramatic than anyone realized once players get their primaries to NT levels.

you mean primary at NT level and the rest lacking way behind, am i correct?
