i have been always putting 8 or 9 players and leaving trainee spot all to my trainee. But yesterday for me first time in 3 seazons happened shit, where he had got subbed and lost few seconds of training minutes... i have checked, i have did everything correctly. Strickly follow depth chart, trainee was starter backup and reserve, all other players had their subs added to the chart as always, but coach somehow managed to sub my pg for a few seconds while shoting free throws.
Yeah, if you see the text "It looks like we are now in garbage time" and you have a starter at the line, whoever was going to substitute for that starter will replace someone else instead. Usually, that's your trainee, unfortunately. There's absolutely nothing at all you can do about that scenario, I am afraid, and I've seen it happen often enough that it's one of the things I look for when people talk about not getting 48+.
