PROBLEMS

Well, so far things at the moment aren't looking up for the Mountain Eagles. They had their weekly team meeting, and they discussed their biggest problems; Altimor, dough boys, and Dodge Arena. They resolved Dodge Arena. They actually found out that fans won't mind..... just that the Eagles would lose profit. So now they're going to build as many seats as possible. Now for problem #2, Altimor. Hershel Roche said, " Why do I always get the all-stars.... the hard players." "Well", James Coleman said," You did beat Iorga, didn't you? If you can beat him, you can TRY to beat Altimor." Then Roche replied, " But he's a MONSTER. I heard he scored 60 points. That's more than 3 of our starters COMBINED!! His lowest is 30. It'll be a miracle if I and Kruger can hold him to less than 30." "There's always a chance. I've been in this league and game long enough to know that." Zoran Jakovic put in. "I've seen players that don't even score 5 points suddenly score 25. Same for people who scored 25. Suddenly they score 5 to 10." Now comes Tivadar Revfi," Hey, all we do fight to the last second. If we get the last shot, just put it in Jakovic or Dekis' hands. Or Roche. The others, I guess we just guard Altimor if he gets the final shot. Remember, this is TV. Time to get serious. Oh, and now we need at least 3 players to score more than 20...... to even stand a chance. And get JC Rebounder to rebound. I need to score. We're tough because we fight,we are brave, we got luck, and we battle with heart and soul" Now everyone in the room agreed to what Revfi. Now, with the dough boys looming over them..... can they stand a chance at all.............. This is Matt Davis reporting for THE EAGLE.

Nice, you're doing great so far. Your arena is fine, the expansion time won't lose you a large amount of money, if you keep expanding and improving your economy the Eagles will be set for a championship run next season. Especially if you put some good training into James Coleman.

GOING SOUTH

Well, the Mountain Eagles just had their first defeat under tough, losing to the dough boys 116-105. We tried to speak to Tough, but he just stormed past us. But we were able to speak with the players. "Man, this is hulmiliation. We lose 2 of 3 TV matches. Well, that will hurt us a lot", Danny Rackham said. Now we tried to talked to Kruger, but he just pushed the cameras and the microphones, and he also threw chairs as he was going to the locker room. We were able to speak to Jakovic, who had 33 points in the game. He said, " The agony of defeat is horrible, especially if we had the chance. We just couldn't stop Altimir. IF we could've put him 10 points less." Roche; didn't want to talk to us.Dekis said, " Well, if I've seen matches in my career, a lot of players and the manager are FURIOUS after their 1st loss. I didn't do enough. We didn't do enough. We just got to take this like men. I know some of this team is young, but please have the understanding that a team can't win forever. Like the Patriots, Yankees, Heat, and so on. It ends someday. And I guess for us it had to be today. We just have to go home, reset our minds, and don't be hung over. Otherwise we'll be put in a big hole. After the Clippers, we got Atlanta Panthers, which the plan for that game is "just stay withen 10" and then we have to push to make the playoffs. I think the last game determines the last spot. And whoever comes their best, scores, and plays defense, will win the game and the playoff spot." Now stay tuned tomorrow for the explanation of Tough and the players. This is Fredrick Dawkins, reporting for THE EAGLE.

We have now talked to tough and the team about the lost yesterday against the dough boys. " Man, we had our chances.Too many chances. WE should have capitalized on them. The problems were that Mpatirakis didn't show up until the third; Kruger didn't show up AT ALL; and that we didn't play our best. I know, the players know, and every knows that we should've gone with a 2-3 or a 3-2, double teaming Altimir. He could've gotten less and we could've had the chance to upset them. I know that our road ahead of us is almost easy after the panthers. But I bet the tie-breaker is going to be against the Jets. We need to make a STATMENT. And it starts NOW. Now we talked to Kruger. "I am sorry for my actions that occured yesterday.I didn't do what I needed to do.I had to score, but Altimir is just so good. I think Altimir could last 3 to even 4 more years. All I know is that I WILL make a statment. If I don't...... Bench me." Now w talk to Roche. "I cooled off. I hate the taste of defeat. Especially agaainst an arch rival. Now I have to take into account that I still need to improve on my defense. If not, we won't survive next season against them." Now, the Mountain Eagles will take on an easy opponet, the Oklahoma Clippers. Now they want to score as much points as they can, because they're 4 points behind the Jets. That will be the first tie-breaker if both teams finish the season with a tied record.Bob Jenkins said, "We need to make sure that we beat them by 50+ points. So then, we can have the advantage. And we want to rebound from that loss." The Eagles are now expanding their arena as well, to set up for next season. They want to make sure that they will have enough seats for the fans to come in. ( They already had the problem with the Bode-Diggity Dogs) Now, stay tuned for the latest news as we cover the scores, highlights, interviews, and more with The Eagle, the national newspaper of the Mountain Eagles. WELL,.....MIRACLE!!!!

The Mountain Eagles get their first scrimmage win against a D4 team-RAINES. It was a very exciting matchup with back-and forth action. Three buzzerbeaters. Clutch shots. Some say it was as exciting as a Cup match.Five players with 10+ points. Four of them with 25+ points. Deikis coming in with almost a triple-double. Oh, and the Mountain Eagles had to do it with out and injured James Coleman, fouled out Tivadar Revfi, 4-foul Esen Rabi, 5 to then fouled out Timothy Kruger, non-scoring Jenkins and Koskinas, and with basically only 3 players. Deikis was the player of the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assist, a rating of 10.5, and a matchup effecicy rating of 140.0! That is nearly impossible! We spoke to him." Well, I just gave the rock to someone who was open, was at the right place at the right time for rebounding, and shot well. All in all, a day's well work." When the Mountain Eagles were down 10 with about 6 minutes left, everyone thought it was over. They started heading for the door. But then, they started coming back. They were able to get crucial free throws by Koskinas and Rabi. Then, Deikis took over and gave them the lead with 3 minutes left. The coach said, " This shows that we can beat higher league teams. This shows that we never give up, even at the toughest times. This shows that we are serious. This shows a lot of things about us that people don't even know. We battled with the assurance of luck and pride. We played for the team. Then that explains that if we probably fought against the dough boys again, we'll probably beat them." Kruger, with 25 points, said, "I did what I'm supposed to do. Now I have to transfer it to the REAL court." Now the Eagles are expected to have a blowout with the Oklahoma Clippers. They say they want to make it to 50+ point differential, by the end of the game. But now they got a bigger problem; James Coleman is injured for the week. That means he won't be able to play till next Saturday( After this Saturday). Now they don't know if they should buy another center or just ride with Penagos. " I can handle it. It's just 24 extra minutes a week. One week shouldn't hurt." Penagos replied. Stay tuned to hear more about the James Coleman Injury on The Eagle. This is Matt Davis reporting for The Eagle.

Well, one good thing happened in training. When Coleman got injured, Tough switched the main training from inside shot to outside shot. This is what happened.

Outside Shooting for SG

Player 1 popped in Jump Range from Respectable to Strong.

"Well, at least it's better than nothing. If we can get our prospects up a little bit then, we're in great shape.", Tough remarked. Stay tuned for other news at anytime. This is Fredrick Dawkins reporting for The Eagle.

Well, thanks. I wanted to name the team Eagles, but I didn't want to cause confusion, so I did the next best Eagle name; narrowed down to four choices, fire eagles, Houston Eagles, Eagle Kings, and Mountain Eagles. For the article, I wanted to make it shorter, so I decided The Eagle would be the best fit; plain, cool, and catchy. Oh, and modern. I heard one person say Eagle is the best bird name, 2nd ravens, and third hawks.
