I'm sorry that you had to support the Redskins last year

But being a Redskins fan provides endless opportunities for amusement. I mean, check out our starting TE's court case. (http://www.washingtonian.com/blogs/capitalcomment/local-n...)

You can't make that up. It's just too bizarre and hilarious.

Haha awesome. We're going through all 5 stages of grief at the same time, so it's best to tread lightly.

I was hitting on a girl in a bar, she mentioned she graduated from PSU. I made the mistake of bringing up and trying to talk about that whole mess. She did not give me her number.

the skins gave up so much getting RG3 Dallas might beat em for the next 10 years!

Right now we're only missing our 2013 1st and our 2014 1st. Which is sizable, but not like a franchise killer or anything. The Bears gave up a bit more overall to land Jay Cutler.

Anyways, think about this. In 5 years RG3 will be hitting his prime, while Romo, Vick, and Eli will all be retiring. After that it's unrivaled Redskins supremacy on top of the NFC East for a decade.

and I did adopt baseball as an American sport I'm interested in!

It feels not quite right since the Nats only came to town a few years ago. So...suddenly we go from basement dweller to one of the best teams in the league. I was expecting a more gradual climb. But whatever, I'm not complaining. It's like, I should be more diehard, but my fanhood hasn't had time to grow yet. At least I've been to a dozen games, so that has to count for something.

Then will you lick the boots of Pittsburgh Pirates fans? Talk about earning it...

The dozen games are just this season. I mean, baseball tickets are mostly cheap, and even last season when we were meh (with Strasburg hurt), I went to probably 6 or 7. Groupon does deals with Nats tickets, sometimes I'm given free tickets, other times we just buy 2 dollar tickets on stubhub and chill by the bar or standing room section the whole time.

I mean, watching baseball on TV is so much less fun than going to a ballpark with friends. So it doesn't really feel like "earning it". I follow the Nats games on my phone, but I've only seen 2 games on TV this season, compared to going to about a dozen games this season. Here's another thing, does going to Nats minor league farm team games count? Cause they're pretty cool to go to in a group.
