188cm is good for a PG. being a PG means he has decent skills in Driving, Handling and Passing. As a rough guide.
Sounds like a good player to train up.
Hope you get him.

Its not always obvious. A player listed as a PG could have mediocre type inside skills or Pitiful inside skills and you wouldn't know.

can I jump into the question?

right now I got 0 points

partly because I did the scouting combine like a couple of days ago and well, found about 6-8 guys that are in my height range (6'7''+ for training a Big) that I will scout. Is the 4 points per week worth it or not? I usually do 3 pts a week, 4 more weeks left in the season=4 players to evaluate.

Now my MAIN question is, will the 4th point help? Or just stick with 3 points/20k a week?

Hmmm... I'd say the 4th point will give you 1 more point than 3 points. ;)

Economically, it doesn't make sense, as that last point is very expensive. Over time it is not advisable.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

It will allow you to scout more players. Whether it is worth it depends on whether the extra players you scout are good or not. So it may or may not help you.

I would stick with 3 and just interview the bigger ones and work down. If they come back 1 to 3 balls drop them right down your order and put those with 5 or 4 balls at the top. Those you don't get round to leave in the middle and take your luck.

I agree. Maybe I mistyped. Not lousy inside skills but WORSE then outside skills. That's better. :)

The calculation you should do is determining how many scouting points you need by the update before the draft and then how many per week you need to get in order to get there. In general, I'd advise using the 2 pt per week option since that's the sweet spot in terms of dollars per point. In a specific scenario, though, if you feel like you really need to interview X number of guys, you need to make sure you have 2*X points.

well 11/25/12 is the deadline, so that wouldn't help. There are 4 weeks until the draft monday comes. so 4*3 pts a week=`12 pts. 3 pts per player so 4 players I can scout.

I will not risk just scouting, sometimes that can be misleading and well it wouldn't help then.......I want the best potential possible. I want a beast draftee. Now I just hope I can get it. I will start with taller players then work down.

hope then I can get a stud.......
