Yeah, being unlucky doesn't help but that doesn't mean you can't make your own luck. I've looked back at his history, there's one thing he has consistently failed to do that would seriously give him a major edge in promoting and that's he has never had the best league record hence no complete playoffs HCA. The game is a season long, win that and I think he will seriously have a good shot of promoting.

This was just a quick 2-3 minute glance of his team.

Agree, add HCA and he would have won tonight even without his second best player. Reverse the HCA and your game with Goldfish would have been on a knife's edge.

That's why I always look to put my team at an advantage because I've tried overcoming HCA before and got beaten comprehensively. ;)

no i cannot guarantee i would win. in fact i am confident i would lose. But the problem i see with Ezy's approach is that he contends every season and never has the clear best team, never has HCA. sure he has been unlucky with injuries, but i would have advised him to maybe lay off on salary a few seasons ago and then make a massive push in a single season. that is generally how most teams promote from div III.

i have nothing against ezy. he is a great bloke, but with the players he's had, viojan, weipeng, he should have timed his run properly and added the necessary pieces at the appropriate time to make promotion certain. Just not sure ezy has done so in the past, despite injuries.

That div3 is cursed. I was stuck in that div3 for 3 seasons.
And Matt Mottram was a made and produced from that league so that says a lot.

That division must be cursed oi that is where old Snakeeyes came from. However I still maintain III.6 is the number one division in Australia where dreams die.
