For one, I appreciate the posting of the guy - I don't check the TL at the moment, given I have a full slate of trainees (well... more than a full slate).

Yokotami certainly looks like a good guard prospect and it wouldn't take much for him to make the NT, especially since we have some ageing guards. That said, his lack of Sb and RBD may affect his selection.

If anyone is interested in purchasing him, happy to let you know what will be required to get him in the team

Congrats to Kirltom for the election. As you can see, you have a strong base following what you are doing and even two grumpy foreigner. So good luck with that.

Just know that you need any help, i got your back. if you need me to help you with the macros in my excel file, i can do that too..

anything you need, i got you.

You will need some thick skin to deal with the NT, but i trust you are up to it....

See, when a member of the NIPPON community is criticising the election process and how the winner of the election got elected and when said winner attacks the member of the NIPPON community with needless post, it leads me to believe the winner of said election didn't really comprehend the post from the member of the Nippon community.

Asana is looking great but I don't understand how Motoori is in the team ATM....Qingbo looking good also.

1st off....I was posting how I was worried that Nippon has no back up plan if you were to get banned. You say it won't happen, but you can't be 100% sure. All I wanted was to have a plan B in place. Now to the second point..
2nd....Not just me but two GMs thought it was shady/wierd how you jumped in at the last minute. If you would have given us at least a day in advance, we could have worked out a plan B. but there was no dialog at all. Maybe that is the Nippon community's fault. Ok...It is what it is.
Now to the real confusing part....I wasn't attacking you at all but the HOW and WHY the election went down. And then you attack me talking about GET OVER YOURSELF and MOVE ON.....Say what? I don't want Nippon to get screwed over again in the future. Since I have been here since season 7, we have had some crap NT managers. The one before Swoosh was due to a BAN of our NT manager and the dude that got 1 vote became the manager. Wolph can tell you about him. Before the banned dude, we had a really crappy manager who would complain about the Nippon players after every loss.
After being screwed over so many times you build up a wall and you are cautious of anybody who trys to come in.

It's ASANO....and about Motoori, let me guess. You would rather have your bigs with 2 OD and passing?. Great!! I can see you understand the game. NT C's have JS and JR.....you need OD at every position. You also don't need super high IS to score inside...

I guess you would rather have 2 OD and 17 ID over 8 OD and 15 ID.

Do me a favor, just take my players off the team. I don't want anything to do with the NT.

I'm happy to put people in their place, YC was having a hissy fit that I hope is now over.

Respectfully Tom, I'm not sure it's your place to do so... and in attempting it you run the risk of not only losing YC, but other managers in the process.
BJ Samuraj tried to run the NT with jackboots on, it ended up quite badly for all concerned (including him). He was the last "non-Japanese" NT manager we've had, and we're not too keen for a repeat. Which is why there may be a bit of tension to begin with.
Once you signed up as being an NT manager, I believe you forfeited the freedom to "put people in their place". Especially in a community of this size. Doing so will just make your job harder.

I see the NT/U21 jobs not as "positions of power" per se, but as "positions of responsibility". Maintaining a good working relationship with each and every manager within the nation is the responsibility of both of those positions... along with a host of other responsibilities. It's a time-sink, and frankly the primary reason why I didn't run.

I see your biggest task initially as allaying any fears/qualms/worries that the Nippon community may have. I think that's even more important than adding to the roster, or working out what strategies you're going to employ, or working on training suggestions for the current roster. You now have to build up trust with each of us.

This is a small community - quite unlike Australia. Nothing will happen without a good working relationship within this community.

100% agree Malice. You cant run a NT without the managers support.

YC started a sledging attack against me though and im happy to defend myself.

If he wants to work with me, im happy to do so but I dont tolerate attacks or abuse.
