Rabid goats and deadshot snipers... How did u blowout the goats but when he TIE me I lost by three even when I guessed his offensive focus, that's bull.

Hopefully no offense to the Oreos, they are a great young team that I really need to watch out for, that 19 yr old 7k salary superstar is shaping up well

Wouldn't be surprised if the Oreos beat out one of the current teams for the POs

Most people build their teams by buying high salary players. Now that's a good idea, but one I do not follow. I believe in having balance and complimentarily skilled players.

Hopefully my logic works and I do, in fact, make the POs.

As for young Jim, my little trainee, he has USA NT aspirations. Lol watch out for us.

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/65836957/boxscore.aspx (watch final 52 seconds)

In a THRILLER down to the final 18 seconds, the Volcanoes stole a win at home from the Team of the Scroll. Trailing most of the game, the Volcanos jumped to a quick lead early in the 4th, but then the defenses of both teams buckled down. This largely in part from ShadowSlam knowing how Roy93 was going to run his offense. Unfortunately for ShadowSlam the pace fell right into Roy93's hands, as their team's extra effort helped spark their win.

Final score 75-67 in what was a 1-point game with under a minute to play!

Donald Luwa started 8-9 but went 0-5 to close out the game. David Thomas just never really spread the ball around, gaining only 3 assists on a msierable 9 assists effort for Team of the Scroll overall. Another big factor in Team of the Scroll not pulling out the road win... Rebounding...

The Volcanoes out-rebounded Team of the Scroll 66-40. Including their 23 OFFENSIVE rebounds, compared to 7 by Team of the Scroll.

Lynn and Marks the LVPs as they combined for 7 points on 2-29 shooting....

interesting season already. biggest surprise imo, social security kings starting off 0-4. they're one of the stronger teams in the league, did not see them starting off the season this way, but i'm sure they'll start to put together some wins here soon.

I'm actually quite surprised that I have a 2-2 record after facing the top 4 teams in my league.

For the second time this season, The Oreos have taken down the #1 seed in the conference. Riding a 3 game win streak, those Philly boys are looking to enter inter-conference play in playoff position.

Team of the Scroll dominates the Brooklyn Knicks at home. Blowing them out by a final of 121 to 80. The Knicks put in more effort but with ShadowSlam figuring out their gameplan, playing at home, and getting their gameshape managed over the week, it was just their time to shine! Donald Luwa, fan favorite and early season disappointment, seems to have taken advantage of the training so far, as he finally makes an impact in a league game.

Donald Luwa went off: 10-21 shooting, 1-4 on 3s, 5-10 at the FT line, 20 rebounds (6 offensive) 3 assists 1 turnover and 2 steals.

Dave Burgos now with a few weeks of learning the team's offense was able to contribute: 11-16 shooting, 4-7 from deep, 3-4 on FT (his 1st miss of season), 3 rebounds 5 assists 2 turnovers and 2 steals. This in only 27 minutes of action.

Eric Marks now, team Captain at the start of the season, may be finding his job in jeopardy as his woes continue.
Marks shot 2-18, while grabbing 9 boards, 7 rebounds, 4 turnovers, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Player of the Game though was William Albert all the way. Notable back-up Guard due to his weak passing skills, Albert shows his strengths in other areas of the game.
Albert was 8-16, going 1-4 from deep, to go with 3 rebounds 2 assists 0 turnovers, 4 steals and 5 blocks. This guy plays the 1 and 2 about as tough defensively as anyone in the league.

Team of the Scroll coming up on a road game vs Closet Men, don't expect much there, and a fairly decent cup match-up. Plenty of action this week, stay tuned.
