It's very hard to get BBBL quality Belgian players :( ... especially since they are very rare and expensive.
I'll keep on looking, also for talents I can train...

Very hard indeed...I didn't really follow up on the last 3/4 seasons, but has there actually been any really interesting rookie in Belgium? If so, I hope they are in good hands and trained properly...
Obviously if/when one of them appears on the TL, the fight to get them is a blood bath and one needs to have a lot of cash on the side to win the auction :)

Is it just an impression or the other countries are more "lucky" new talent wise?

There are some talented players, but I reckon that MVP potential and above are rare in Belgium, or end up in teams who just don't care and don't sell or train them.

On the other hand, I see super prospects going away for reasonable fees, like Van Leugenhagen, 18 yos MVP player with a very good skill-set getting sold for 650 k, and last season they were only half the price. Of course, it's painful to start training from scratch, but why not ?

All right!...well, I should start looking more closely at the TL, I wouldn't mind training a potential future NT Belgian palyer.

If I know what you're after, I might ping you when I see someone suitable on the TL.

Any player that is potential NT material is interesting, but I guess that's stating the obvious :)

I'm also interested in this information... as I guess any BBBL manager would.
At this point, ANY potential Belgian NT player is welcome and will be fully trained by a lvl 6 coach.

The problem isn't about finding players to train or managers able to properly deal with them, but most of the time these two occurences simply don't occur at the same time :p

Anyway I keep in mind that you're both interested. But price is up to you, I can just tell you "this player has a future".

Nice training changes this season by the way!
And for supporters: the scrimmage finder is a nice feature as well

I agree, the new system is nice, although I liked the old one where you had to be able to manage at the same time the training and the competition. Making a trainee play out of position added some "glory" to the result...but considering that the effect of the new training will be dimished by different factors, it is still more efficient to continue the old way, so I like the change.

Concerning the scrimmage feature, it's cool, but I like to chase the flags when possible, so not very useful for me, unles I would find myself in a rush one day to find a game maybe

I like the feature.

They made it perfectly well, so that you can continue training a player at a suitable playing position whenever his salary becomes to great to handle, at the cost of a training penalty. Take that as a "bonus".

Hopefully I won't try out the new scrimmage feature too soon :p

i find it amusing that the next generation of forum writers is starting to show up xD and yes i say the next generation, cause for seasons it was Nico, Joe, Sum, Angi and me doing it. Now we seem to have a new trio. keep it up lads. i'll try and join in again in the forseeable future. Just dealing with the aftereffects that a heart operation brings along. i'm not at 100% yet and it will take some weeks. still have to mix in my uni work too.

@ dartreb: i'm looking at add a Belgian talent midway through the season. big training (with JS ofc) is going to be given on a lvl 7 (but most likely by then lvl 6) trainer (i'm in the trainers market atm looking for a steal as i always do). If u find anything, but sure to pass it along.

@ Dartreb2: i'm not underestimating Joe in any way. I just intend on attacking him head on while he is 'weak' atm. Many people throw away their games against Joe because he is Joe without looking at his team. You'll see that he's much more beatable this season than he was the last couple of seasons. As for Canipel, J-J should be on pretty close at the end of the season but he's still lacking in 1 department majorly and a minor second department still. (i'd be slightely dissapointed if he didn't get a real call up this season).

@ others: this season will be a transition season for the Angels. As from next season, i intend on competing for the PO's. i'm going to have a 4 season window to compete in in which i intend on going as far as i can before i resign to training young Belgian prospects (potentially selling them after 2 seasons to get a greater influx of Belgian talent aswell as a guaranteeing the first 2 or 3 seasons of training since those are the most crucial ones. ofcourse i'll be in it to enlargen my own BB bank account).

have a great season and i'll try to keep things lively on the forum this season.

i hAZ~ returned ;) :)
