I never have gotten around to seeing CC but I may well be changing that.

Hey bro, lets whip out a best hoops documentary thread with poll.

Some early nominees for that, naturally Hoop Dreams.

City dump, the story of the 1951 NYU scandal was awesome sauce.

Battle for Tobacco Road naturally makes the list since I am a unabashed UNC nut.

The Iran Job was really well done, and I think gives a glimpse in what maybe the life of the average working class stiff buzzerbeater player would resemble.

Rebounds could well serve as a companion piece with the setting changed from Iran to Chile.

Man as far as documentaries go... There are just to many! And so many of them are so good.
I really like a lot of the espn docs, and anything I can find on btn to do with the flying illini. That 'City Dump' was entertaining, and in on demand right now on showtime I think. Hoop Dreams was awesome, use to rent that with along with Above the Rim back in the day.

If y'all need some good non fiction, here ya go!

I remember that game well, was running the sound board at the sports talk radio station I was working, Arizona had that game dead to rights....

But I am a Carolina fan, and we all know what happened the next weekend in St.Louis that year.

Then again that's not a comeback...this is a comeback. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO445W4mtZI

So your a Illini fan eh...what did you think of that beat down UNC put on them a few weeks back. Took my kid to that one, he enjoyed it immensely, as did I :) then again Illinois football is a dumpster fire.

Sean May got away with murder? Wish I could say the best team won that game.

Yes, Illinois football has long been a dumpster fire. I wish the culture of the University was a little different. But we still have more national titles in football than UNC and Iowa combined. So that's a plus.

As a Heel fan, are you not at all worried about the long term health of the ACC? Feels like a couple of those schools are going to be left in the cold with the next realignment cycle.
