Well, I believe, that removing IS from 1v1 for forwards may solve problem with too powerful IS, but I think that we have to do much more. Your proposal deals only with 1 of 3 parts of the problem of the overpowered 1v1 (1v1 is a best way to improve guards IS/1v1 is a best way to make OD training much faster/1v1 is a worthwhile way of training JS).

I suggest making 1v1 training much, much more slower.


Training, if anything needs to be changed about it, needs to be much faster in general.

Let's make things clear: I don't propose to make training slower generally! The 1v1 training is the only one, whose speed should be reduced to improve training balance. I've even noticed in my post, that some training drills should be faster in general, so the overall speed of it would remain the same (at least).

I know, that "make training faster" is one of the main points of proposed changes, but the improvement of balance also seems to be important here. We can't make the training too easy - it would make it less interesting in my opinion. If you can find a solution, which will allow to train faster, but not easier, I'm all ears.
