Please, don't mix an apples and oranges !

I started this topic to get different kind of opinions and to discuss about draft, especially is it possible to change something. To be more exact, is it possible to create something like fixed percentage of the upcoming potentials.

As I already said, 1% of ATG, 3% of HOF players etc.

Personally, I don't have problem with Spain, France, Poland, Italy, USA or any other bigger community on BB getting ( for example ) 20 HOF and 5 ATG players per season... I have a problem with us getting no more than 2-3 HOF and 0 ATG players every season.

Let's look at that this way... don't you think that, if we give more talents to smaller countries like Montenegro, Belarus, Iran, New Zealand ( around 20-30 users ) other managers from other, big countries wouldn't pay for those youngsters and train them to sell them later and to earn some money ? And those small countries will get more quality players in their rosters ( senior and junior ).

Finally:

If one community has 100 users ( 300 draft players ) and we create those fixed percentages to them, I don't see problem if Bosnia gets 9 HOF and 3 ATG and France ( 2100 players ) getting around 60 HOF and 21 ATG players.

As a community we'll manage to reach every single HOF player. And I don't care about big communities. Give just a minimum to us. Number of players that we can work with !

Look at TL now. You can find 85 HOF and 1 ATG French player at transfer list ! How many of them are kept in teams and not on sale ?!

On the other hand, we've got ( Bosnia ) 2 18yo HOF players and 2 19yo HOF players ( 45-50 TSP). What we can do with that ? That's what I'm talking about. One season is ok, two seasons in a row are awful, and imagine if you get 10 HOF and 1 ATG player in 4 seasons and other communities by that time have minimum of 200-250 HOF and 20 ATG players.

I respect big communities and I do think that bigger communities should get bigger numbers of quality players, but if we can't be equal, it should be done proportionaly !

Who cares about TL? How many HOF-s you got from draft with 18y?

We got 2 from 130 teams.

Ι care. You should too.

Besides that, the numbers of Bosnian(10+) draftees are tragic and compromise the very good job you've been doing with both your NTs.
HoF and ATG draft pool should be the same for every country, as a percentage to the entire draft pool.
Randomness could exist in the (common for all countries)percentage.

I managed the Nippon U21 for a couple terms so lack of available talent is very familiar to me.

The BBs missed the boat on giving a more equal playing field to mid, small, and micro nations when Utopia used Utopia players and didn’t draft players in an inverse proportion to the user base by nationality.

Nippon have 1 user, Bosnia 130, you can't compare that.
But as maddoghellas said, there should be a fix percent based on users how many HOF-s you will get at least.

It's sad when you have managers waiting for the draft to train, and you don't get normal players at all.

It looks like the rate of hall of famer for 18 year old decreased a bit for everyone compared to last season. From 4.2% it became 3.1%. But I think this season is more fair since the standard deviation among countries decreased from 10.9% to 4.2%. It is sad that your country has the worst rate among those with who have 18 year old hof, but is it only this season or do you have a consistently low rate? If it is consistent, maybe you have a valid complaint. I got nonbot player data from BBAPI a few days after both season's draft, so it may be skewed if managers fire low potential player and select high potential players, leaving more low potential players to bots.

Nippon had about a dozen managers before the merge so the comparison of a lack of talent is valid. Getting MVPs is absolutely normal. This game, like life, doesn’t hand things out based on fair proportions. Luck comes in handy. I drafted two 5/5 guys that both ended up MVP. Our draft had five such players, all MVP. Should I or my league-mates be mad about that too?
