Being one starter short of a stacked team really does make a big difference. Aforementioned plan to drop to BBM tier 1 is still on so I'll make sure not to shop around for next season until after the play-off deadline (I was planning to wait last playoffs too, but Błażejczak was just too good to miss.)

So the stage is set. Balev's Kinky Koalas went all in this season and so far haven't been beaten. Dudehowdy's tannum tantrums were relatively quiet but put together their best season ever. Someone's winning their first ABBL title this week. Let's hope it's a good one, free of any GE chicanery...

I truly thought the BB gods were with me this season. All the way through, it seemed that it didn't matter what I'd do, I'd chalk up a W. Until now...

I jinxed it with the GE comment didn't I?

If I had to come up with a reason it would be 3-2 zone destroying Patient and effort differences being particularly fickle in the playoffs. But I don't think this is over yet as now Tannums will be pretty spent relative to you.

Haha, nah, I don't think so (not that I'm superstitious in any way anyway). I think you're right about the 3-2 vs Patient. Bad choice on my part, totally. I was thinking PTB all along, then changed my mind at the last minute. Oops...

Yeah, I don't think it's over. Hopefully not. Should be interesting the next one/two.

This season was terrible by/for me.

Getting a 3 week injury on a key player that would of lasted into the playoffs so I sold him for cheap, injuries early in the season, in-game injury and foul out during semi final.

I don't know what I'm going to do to fill in the big man spots on my roster now. I've taken on a large salary with a Montenegro national pg. Will have to be crafty! gl for last games of finals :)
