If draft luck is spread throughout the BB world then this will have a dramatic impact on U21 and National teams. Basically a small nation can be unlucky every year and then may as well not exist from a NT point of view as it will always be a whipping boy regardless of which Tournament.

Im not saying that countries like mine (Japan) should be competing year in year out with Italy but spread over their divisions they must have on average more Perennial Allstar + Potential $5k players than the 1/2 active divisions we or other smaller nations have.

The disparity in growth and opportunity is far too great and will mean that we will all be training the medium to large countries best prospects and further neglect our own... (unless we are extremely patriotic or sentimental)

are you asking for a better pool of players than the one available for the teams of the largest countries?

no - im saying that if you play roulette and bet on Black 13 every time you are supposed to get lucky 1 in 37. (lets call this Japan) If you bet on 1-12 you now have a 12 in 37 chance of hitting a winner (lets call this Spain)

The bigger countries just have more bets out on the table for draftees so i am suggesting fixing the system so that the distribution of luck is proportionate and the same across all countries.

If USA has a tough year through all divisions they will still get some decent trainable MVPs.

If Japan has a tough draft we will end up with nothing.

If both have a proportionately equal amount then NT's would improve. There are only so many NT squad openings so if you have more in one country then this wont neccessarily improve the quality of the NT it will just make the chances of training a NT player less.

At least this will still mean smaller nations can continuously evolve and develop (still at a slower pace which is only natural and fair)

Not impressed. We Finns can move those guys -- piece by piece if necessary.

I spent $0 on scouting and got lucky with my #1 center who has HOF potential. Drafted in the #15 slot. Pure luck of course.

Previously, I spent $10k per week and even my best prospects were lousy. Honestly, I do not put any $ into scouting. You are better off saving the money and buying prospects in the market. Last season, my best prospects were 4*, this season I had 5 5* guys. So overall, the draft looked a little better.
