First of all I want to commend BB staff on the viewer .... it is one of the best features of the game. I am not whining about it, just trying to help make it better.
I agree with some of the suggestions in this thread.
1) FIX THE BUG: that has offensive players rotating over to help defend on a play.
2) WAY TO MANY DUNKS: in a real basketball when players attempt to dunk, it is rarely blocked, or missed, yet it happens frequently in BB. There is a rich variety of ways players attempt to score inside... putting some of these moves into the text lines would add variety and excitement to the narration. e.g. "Jones catches it on the block, does an up-and-under move and goes strong to the basket." Or "Jones catches it in the paint, pivots and puts up a jump hook." Or "Jones catches inside and goes up with a turn-around jumper."
3) LOTS OF TIME TO SET UP: in real basketball nobody has a lot of time to shoot from the free throw area, and nobody's defender steps back that close to the basket. It would be more realistic to say "Johnson does a step back jumper to create space near the elbow." or "Johnson uses a shot fake to drive by his defender for an open shot at the free throw line." this is how real basketball players make space.
4) SHOT BLOCKING It would be nice if when a player blocks a shot it would appear in the text line .... e.g. "Smith goes up strong inside for a shot" followed by "Johnson blocks the shot" .... I saw several other people suggest this.
5) TAKES THE CHARGE As a coach in real life I think one of the greatest defensive plays a guy can make is taking a charge. Players in BB get offensive fouls, but nobody currently gets credit for taking the charge. It would be very cool if the BB text line on offensive fouls go reflect this .... e.g. "Williams rotates over into good defensive position as Richards drives baskeline and takes the charge." ..... "Offensive foul on Richards." If BB could start a statistical line on taking charges that would be the bomb.

You miss 100% of the shots you do not take.
