When a team like DC Dribble is 0-5, the division is cutthroat. Perhaps too cutthroat given that the past two promoters have been from the Big 8. Possibly one very good team in the Big 8 can Playoff Norm their way to the Finals whereas Great 8 teams have to Playoff CT both games?

Having essentially a bot finish 2nd last season definitely helped Wiggles cause. The season before Rambo bought his way into the NBBA. While you won't get any argument from me that the Great 8 is much deeper recently, I don't know if that alone is the reason why people have promoted out of the Big 8 the last two seasons. Last season darky, myself, Curry, and Azariah all had the ability to put better teams on the floor than we did on a regular basis due to training. As evidenced come playoff time, none of us were pushovers (except maybe darky :p) so I would hardly say the Big 8 is soft come playoff time, although it does help when it comes to getting HCA I suppose. Just as recently as Season 14 the Big 8 was the deeper and tougher conference, so it just goes to show it goes in cycles.

It's not like he bought some 300k monster. Wasn't his team salary just 50k higher than the 2nd highest in the league?

He only added between 200-250k salary just before the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong it wwas a great tactic that he had to be in the financial position to undertake but he did by the championship. We should be surprised he is the New York Jests

I'm just enjoying this and looking towards the second half. I wish I was trying to throw the games but that is not the case.
