All I want for Christmas is;


My trainees to develop quicker
Avalon Jets to renounce his current alias
Coach Regan to recover from the harpooning I gave him
Vios to spend more time on the 11.3 forum
To get last seasons run in the cup every season
To be gifted a promotion without really having to work for it
Good health to all the other Managers in league 11.3
For teams I oppose in finals to get injuries to their key players
To be able to pick up some more super star Aussie value for money players at bargain prices
To have 3 starters in next seasons Australian under 21 team
To have a reasonable win in lotto
Good health for my family and I
My first of many ABBL championships
World domination in Buzzerbeater

gee i mustve really hit a nerve for Sid to still be carrying on about it. I love the harpooning comment though, its like a dad joke.
current odds of Sid still carrying on about this till the end of the season - paying $1.05 :)

I have every reason to be grumpy though.

Looks like the sleeping giants in Hadders and Avalon Jets both might be considering awakening from their self imposed hibernation.

Avalon Jets threw in what appeared to be their best line up to win away from home against the ladder leaders (thats you coach Regan) and to take their season tally to 4 and 3

And Hadders line up looks stronger than recent seasons and they sit within the four in their conference.

POISON , POOOIIISSSOONNNN I say,

these former ABBL managers are both very capable and extremely cashed up

Looks like an extremely interesting season developing

Im not aiming for anything too big. Just decided to keep training my PG now that he is in the Aussie U21 team and to sell up my other 2, 20 year olds to concentrate on Royce Radcliffe. I did replace my 2 20 year olds with slightly better players though :)

Im still a few seasons away from even thinking about ABBL. Probably aim for 4th or 5th this season, watch Royce train, lament Vio leaving us and keep stashing all the money i have got.... Ops, i mean keep planning for the future.

Was a little concerned but the way my mins worked out this week I could play most of my best players without affecting training. Next week is a bit of a concern for me as i'm playing a div 2 team. Besides my team is not as good as last season, I'm rebuilding and need cup wins for funds to rebuild with.

Seems strange that you gave away your 2 x 20yo old Aussie trainees for so little

Both could have been in running for Aussie under 21s next season and Royce Raddcliffe is a beaut but being an Allstar must cap out soon

? sell 2 good aussie trainnees for very little and content with finishing 4th or 5th? (does not compute)

Your vault of cash must be over flowing.

Have a feeling that you and your old ABBL mate Avalon Jets both might be considering coming out of hibernation

Avalon Jets tanked a winnable cup game this week to make sure of 2 wins in league games

yer ive got Royce hitting his soft cap soon. probably get maybe 3 more pops in his main skill set before hitting it. Then its secondaries training for him.

I think he got a good return for Cuong Lý - Allstar trainee again, they just arent worth that much, even though you can train an awesome player still, even for Div II, so to sell him for $400k was alright i reckon. Definately more than if he sold him when he was drafted as an 18 year old, so there is a profit there.
The other guy I thought definately sold for not enough. Sundae picked up a bargain there. Superstar trainee, 20, $11k salary, 6'10" - maybe he had aweful secondaries? he doesn't, but if youw ant to know, join the offsite forum ha!

Yer 5th is no longer a good idea anyways - the new rules lend themselves to finishing top 4 as a better financial option.

maybe hadders is going to purchase some more 18 year old all-star trainee's cheap on the transfer market, train em up, sell em in 2 seasons time for $400k again? its not bad, $400k a season profit.

Saw the Hobbit at the cinemas last night.

Hadders reminds me of the scene where the fire breathing flying dragon, who had once caused so much death and destruction, awakens under mountains of gold coin

Any time a Hadders or an Avalon Jets is in touch with the finals, is dangerous as they have the potential to make the rest of us look like dwarfs should they want.
