Countdown to the draft has already begun in Otherland.

Major over-hauling to be done this offseason.
Next year Salas (and Quigley if still on team), will be doing a lot of 1on1 forward training throughout the season.

In preparation of winning, and then being immediately, not relegateable in div IV. Going to pursue some guards only guards with an OD at least prominent. SF going to buy the best 30-32 year old SF I can find (and afford). And find some other guys that can at least be competent relieving Salas. Watt woulda been nice to keep if he had shooting ability. But he doesn't, so no crying over spilled milk.

Keeping Salas and Quigley (home-grown talent) ensures a steady Merchandise. Depending on whom is drafted will make a large impact on the future as well.

Thoughts on if Belkhaouos should be held onto, or traded as well?

hey, you ever know what happened to this guy. Buck eye fan something. He used to have a national newspaper himself. He was actually good with it. Didn't he give YOU the idea of the national newspaper?

Yeah, that's the guy I'm talking about. He hasn't posted in a month and I just revived the thread. Well, he's second and Home Court advantage. He's either too tired of posting or something else.........but if he were to post, it probably would be now.......But I don't know if he can compete now with The Eagle, Otherland Oracle, The Laser Limelight, and I BET YOU 1 mil that 1 more guy will copy us at between the start off s20 and middle of 220 with a national newspaper themself. So the panther press got a lot of compettion newspaper wise now..................

Yessir, i bet you're right. Cause the newspaper idea is a bomb idea.
And allows more space than the bb mail messages.

Eventually if/when all of us are supporters, we should do a private league

Otherland, plays tomorrow a relegation game vs Bostics, Folks may remember their 3/31 matchup. Otherland's largest victory of the season (at the time), and on the road. Their next head to head, will be on Otherland's home-turf.

Last time, Otherland played an Inside Iso, and 3-2 zone.

"These aren't just relegation games. We don't feel like these games don't matter, just because we weren't in the top 4 of our division. These games are statements! We are making statements to the rest of the league for how next year is going to turn out!"

Statements were made indeed...
Otherland annhilated the Bostics 118-61 in their 1st game of the relegation series.Otherland got off to a strong start holding the Bostics to 1-18 shooting, and 2-2 at the FT line in the 1st quarter. Bostics' first FG of the game came with 4 seconds left in the 1st quarter! How is that for a shut-down defense?!

Paul Salas player of the game, if you can call it a game, shooting 10-14, 2-2 FTs, 22 points 14 rebounds (3 offense) 2 assists 2 blocks 2 turnovers in 30 minutes of action.
Julio Falcao 10-19 shooting, 1-2 splitting a pair at the line, 21 points 6 rebounds (3 offense) 6 assists 2 steals in 35 minutes of play.
Tapia Gomez starting at PF to rest Belkhaouos some, 7-11 shooting, 2-9 at the FT line, 16 points 12 rebounds (2 offense) 5 assists 2 steals 1 block in 27 minutes of action
Stuart Watt had his best game as a Champion, shooting 6-14, 1-1 from deep, 13 points 4 rebounds 5 assists 4 blocks 2 turnovers in 33 minutes.
Belkhaouos off the bench 5-7, 2-2 FT 12 points 10 rebounds (5 offense) 2 assists 2 blocks 1 turnover in 21 minutes.

Otherland outrebounded Bostics 65-35 and 22-10 offensively.

Will Otherland continue to make a lasting impression for other Managers to think about for next season? Here at the Oracle we think so.

Otherland, playing with a little less effort in relegation game 2 vs the Bostics, but with the same outcome. Otherland easily cruised to a 95-60 win over the Bostics. Statement received by the Bostics, who I am sure, are thankful they don't see much of Otherland next season.

POG was again, Paul Salas:
Salas led all players in Scoring, Rebounding, and tied for Steals.
Salas was 9-13 from the floor, and 4-8 at the line. Salas scored 22 points going along with 20 rebounds (6 on offense), 1 assist, 3 steals, 3 blocks, and 1 turnover in 36 minutes of action.

Zwirski 6-17 shooting, 2-6 from deep, recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 31 minutes

Huey 19 minutes of action 11 points on 5-8 shooting, 1-2 from 3pt-land 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block.

Belkhaouos committing almost half of Otherland's turnovers, still a solid performance. 31 minutes, 5-11, 0-1 from deep, 10 points 9 rebounds 1 steal 5 blocks and 4 turnovers.

Falcao a horrible shooting performance when nobody on Otherland (except him) struggled.
1-13 shooting, 1-6 from downtown, 3 points 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, and 1 turnover in 31 minutes of action.

Otherland shot 42-99 as a team, Bostics 20-71, Otherland outrebounded the Bostics 65-38. Otherland 30 assists : 9 turnovers, Bostics 17 assists : 15 turnovers.

Otherland with some scrimmages left in their schedule.

Quiet days in Otherland, with just some scrimmages left in the season. probably not any big news until draft day.
