As a Texans' fan, living in Dallas, I can tell you we are not Texas's team just yet. The Texans are pretty irrelevant outside of Houston, and thats to be expected from the youngest franchise in the league. The Cowboys still own everything to the north, east, and west.

As far as Schaub, I think youre being a bit hard on him. He has produced in a major way for this team since he got here. I do believe its time to replace him, but Im not gonna hold it against him that hes getting old. A lot of the stagnant offense has to go on the play calling as well. We became predictable and repetitive down the stretch. Schaub didn't help, but its not all on him.

I'd say there is a lot of pressure on the Pats. Lots of wins, not a lot of championships lately to show for it. Fans are getting grumpy.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Pats have had their time in the sun and I think the sun is setting on them as most of their Elite Talent are on the older side. I would say the teams with the most pressure to push harder will be the Packers, Falcons, and Broncos. The Packers need to sign a running back like Jackson and they will be back, the Falcons need to get away from Turner and get a running back that can catch out of the backfield while being able to block at the same time (i.e Jackson). The Broncos will only get better next year which is kind of scary but we all know how good Manning gets once he has more time to work with those young recievers and that Defense will be back in shape next year. Packers, Falcons, Broncos are all on the younger side as far as Elite Talent minus Manning but I would still put him up with Matt Ryan and Rodgers as far as managing the NFL game..

Teams with Elite Talent who need to improve in a few catagories are Minny, Carolina, Tampa, Washington, and Cincy. I think these teams will end up being the next crop of winners if the front offices can add the right pieces to the puzzle and make it work..

Philly will be interesting with a coach that runs the Vick playstyle Offense. I cannot stand Vick but with the right system I think he still could be one of the most explosive players in the game.. I also think that he cannot worry about getting injured anymore and needs to be a run threat again while he still has those legs.. Use them while you have them!

what about getting another few good RBs that still have some tank left (like Reggie Bush, or Ben Tate) ?

wait actually Tate is young.....but I still say the Texans shouldn't be hogging all the good RBs, maybe they could trade with a team next year for a few draft picks in 2014 NFL draft (Carolina, San Diego, NYJ, etc. need a RB) that way the Texans can move up in the draft order, and also be able to possibly draft a reasonable QB/WR that has talent.

As for QB, why can't we just go with T.J.? If not for the 2 punts that Jacoby messed up in last year's Divisional game, we might have won. I don't know if we need another rookie. Maybe a young guy that has been in the NFL for 3-4 seasons.

The last time the Patriots won the Super Bowl, the leading passer in the league was Daunte Culpepper and the leading TD scorer was Shaun Alexander. Vince Young was a year away from being drafted. It seems like it's okay to sleep on them at this point since they're hitting snooze every season. ;)

Im not sure I would consider them hitting snooze. They have been close enough to smell two Lombardi Trophies since then.

Not only that, but no one has a bigger target on their back than the Pats. Thats THE game on most team's schedules, and they still find themselves in the AFC championship game year in and year out.

Like I said before, you guys can sleep on them. I am of the opinion that sleeping on Tom Brady and Bill Bellichek is ill-advised to say the least :)
