and the witch hunt continues...
the fun part is that if you havent noticed only BB staff is defending changes, nobody from "normal" users and your fanboys is defending it...
PS
after 200 rows of random text nobody gave the anwser to my simple question, how do you make money now in this game after tanking and d2d trading is killed completly!?

EDIT:

i would like to know why is it so bad if somebody can make money on TL and why is such a big sin to have TL history in green?

dont forget that even in real life (NBA), teams have salary floor and even if they tank they have to fill the roster with enough salary or waste that cash on air

you earn by balancing rooster and training, you stay competitive (and earn cash) while you train some great youngsters and then you can go for it, or sell and start the cycle again with bigger budget.this is a manager game, and of course you cant expect to win it all from first day (only if pay to win is introduced)

and tanking isnt killed, you just need to be smart with it

I`m the nicest person you will know:)

At least, they are trying to do something. It's better than nothing even If those solutions implemented aren't the best. So there is still some hope...

IMO, the minimum-salary increase will have a bad effect on the game. It will be more and more difficult for a new team to climb the hierarchy because it's more difficult to win a lot of money with salary-wise roster. (and rising the prices of secondaries are going in the same bad direction).

It's good news for well-implemented team (and since last season I'm part of it) but bad news for the large majority of players.

When I've started the game, with 10M you could have a good roster (for top division) and it was not too long to earn those 10M.

Now, 10M is far from enough and earning those 10M take too much time.

As already said by some users, the key problem is that you need smthg like 8 good players in your roster but you can only train 2 or 3 by yourself. So each team need to buy 5-6 players to complete the roster, but nobody are training them for you. Training is too slow...

Either make training faster or allow us to train more players at full speed.
What if you change the training so we can train 2 positions at full speed? Even temporarily, until transfer market gets back to normal.

Manon is absolutely right.

Training has been, is and always will be the best way to make money.

You can get trainees for basically no money, and if you want to win while training, get some pre-trained guys. Simple.

I have 4 trainees at the moment, they are performing quite well for me, will perform better and better over time, they wont break the bank and in a few seasons i could sell them for huge profits. I have a positive $ balance and stay competitive, even thinking about promoting to div II this or next season. Go figure.

The thing that makes this game fun is learning and adapting to it. Big changes could throw it off balance. I sincerely hope that BBs dont neglect the existing playerbase while trying to appeal to newcomers.

Seriously man?
I think Manon might be a woman or at least that's a possibility! And yes there are women in this game, your Canadian cup is named after one.

When you'll sell your 4 players, you will need 4 new players to keep the same level in your roster, so in the end you'll win nothing. For exemple, I've bought a pre-trained player 4 millions, I give him additional training, now his value is 8M. Great for my bank account? No, it's a good thing for the strength of my team, not for my bank account. If I sell him and I replace him with a player of lets say 5 Millions, I will earn 3M but my team will lose a lot of strength...

I've started to play this games 3 IRL years ago and it's only now that I have a good team, I don't say my strategy was optimal but I think I was quite fast to build and buy my team. 3 years is already very long and I understand that lot of people lost their motivation before and quit the game.

Now, with the price market rising, I guess it's not 3 years from scratch but 4 years. They have to reduce that factor if they want to keep the newcomers.

Also Manon, let me say this: the tanking solution as it's been conceived will make training in D1 and probably D2 much harder. If the 50% haircut to gates is real at relatively low levels of saving, everyone will have to prioritise winning at least those 3 games per season over everything else. 50% for a D1 team is -250k a week until you win a game (because after you win, I suppose, it will go magically back to 100%).

It would be good to know what your thoughts are on the secondaries changes since you and hrudey explored non LI ways in the past. I just realised hrudey went bot, that's too bad.

I agree that the ultimate goal would be to train for yourself and only sell when your players are getting old. But you need finances to improve your team and the freedom to buy new players, upgrade the arena and so on. To do that you need to have capital first. The first thing a newcomer should to (especially in this market) is train and sell some guys to accumulate funds first.
