Game engine is determined to fuck me every year. Starters sat on the bench for the first four minutes of OT. Makes perfect sense. On the other hand, this is why i'm not worried about computers taking over.

Failure of a 19-3 season. Finances are in the dump and nada to show for it.

Good game Michigan. I am a bit surprised that I won by 12 with Runyon getting hurt so early on. I feel fortunate to move on with that happening...and even more fortunate that it is not a long term injury. Phew...Bobcats, time for you to take care of business against me. All I ask is don't suck and allow your arena to only sell 81% of the seats like I did...very frustrating. I do think the total gate neared 200k though so not all bad anyway...

I sold 100% for the last 3 games so I think i'm good. One thing i i did not do is to change the ticket price prior the playoff....stupid me!!!but it's okay. hopefully Dogus will be back when I'm playing against you so i can put up my full squad on the court and have a real battle with you!

Much respect to carmona...with the 5 fouls on him in early 3rd quater. he still manage to drain 40 points even though he drained those 3s in the late 4th quater...but no doubt he is the best scorer in this league!

hopefully he can get some experience pop so he makes better decision in the coming seasons!

Good game. I tried to mix it up on you by going inside, and it looked like it was going to work after Runyon went down. Best of luck to you against Bobcats.

I know..... You want them... You pray for them.... and as the Caesar gave circus games to the people I will do the recaps for you during the play off.

Big 8.

Cleveland 67 Vs VDs 84. Cleveland put all they had on the court but it wasn't enough. VDs defense was too much, allowing less than 70 points to Cleveland's folks. Wilson and Lange lead the small guys with more than 40 points and 16/25 FG. It was a classy VDs performance. Cleveland surprisingly did not look inside and Marmolejo was benched most of the game.

Tachenko 110 Vs TDX Dutchman 108. Tachenko surprised TDX on the road. Tachenko came with everything they had while TDX did not. It turned out to be a fatal mistake for TDX. TDX based his game on his outside shooters while Tachenko looked inside. The first half belonged to Tachenko. O. Martinez and Mayagoitia were giving a hard time to TDX until Martinez got in foul trouble. Without Martinez and with Caldeira injuried the backup PF Jansen assumed the duty. Without Martinez TDX made a great come back (17 points) and took the lead with 2 minutes to go. Gagis and Hutson became a nightmare for Tachenko's defense. Martinez came back to put Tachenko back in business. However, Tachenko missed the last shot and forced to resolve the game in the OT. Surprisingly, TDX coach decide to sit Gagis, Hutson and Romary for most of the OT!!!!!!! I understand that Gagis was in foul trouble but Hutson and Romary weren't!!!!!. This present wasn't rejected by Tachenko that with Martinez and Mayagoitia on court dominated the rebounds and closed the game from the free throw line.

Great 8.

Prov. City 99 Vs Bobcats 113. Both teams came strong. Bobcats were aware that the chances the Prov. city could have will depend on two things: Carmona and Bobcat's team effort. Carmona did his job scoring 40 points (17/25 FG) and leading his team without fooling out but it wasn't enough to overcome the inside game of the Bobcats. This game showed that both coaches know each other well. They knew what they had and how to hurt the rival.

Michigan 86 Vs Rougher Nation 98. This was suppose to be a close game on paper and I think the result could have been different. Both teams looked inside but Rougher Nation chose a 3-2 Zone defense!!!!! I don't know why Michigan shoot so many 3 point because that killed them and pay off Nation 3-2 zone. On the other hand Nation shoot less 3 points FG but almost score everything. It is a bummer when you see two teams going inside and the game is resolved from the 3 point line.

Peace and love bitches

nb Fella made better recaps.... I know.... but this is what you get for what you pay.

your worry was unfounded my team was way to inconsistent this season. I do have to point out that we both TIE'd that last game we had but it was a fluke and you have the better team as proved by this last playoff game. Good luck to you I think you have what it takes to go all the way this season.

Thanks for the recaps, but you shouldn't be so surprised that my team shot the hell out of the ball from outside. First off, you failed to mention that arguably the best big man (outplayed solis 1 on 1) in the league got hurt after 1 quarter of action. Second, you failed to mention that Michigan went with a 2-3 zone which always gets absolutely torched from the outside. So all in all a 12 point game is surprising...but only because Runyon went down. I expected to win on equal enthusiasm, but ONLY because I was at home. If I was on the road Michigan wins on equal enthusiasm. That's why our regular season battle was so important there towards the end of the season.

I love the recaps and thanks for stepping up and doing them in the playoffs!

Masolov finally getting healthy was the key to this game. He is a great backup big man, but was hurt for 3 weeks. Came back with perfect timing for Runyon to go down. Good idea on the LI as well.
