Hey guys, Im training an 18yo with HOF potential, he's a PF but he's only 6'6" so Im training him to be a SF.

His main problem to be a SF was bad initial OD. So the plan was to train him as a PG with pressure to get some pops on OD. Last week because we only had 1 game, he played less than 48min and still popped in OD, matter of fact, another 18yo with PA PG also popped in OD.

This week he got 48+ and didn't pop. Two other PGs that got close to 48 didn't pop either. As a matter of fact, 2 players dropped, one is an older C and the other a young SF.

Do you guys have any advice to give me? I thought players with high potential were supposed to pop every week if done right? The plan was to switch between pressure and 1on1, but I didnt get a pop this week. Should i do 1on1 this week?

Just because a player has high potential doesn't mean he will pop every week. He will probably pops most weeks, but to train him the fastest, make sure you single position train him as much as possible.

I'm only training PG position... Is it better to switch training every week or do, say, 4 weeks of pressure then 4 weeks of 1on1?

Now that is creepy, considering troy is twice as old as tough and they are of the same gender.

It is better for you to rotate training JS/OD/PA since he is a young player. The U21 team doesn't recommend training stuff like 1v1 until he is about 20.

Oh, thank you, I'm glad I asked, I was about to make a mistake. So, what exact practices do you recommend? I'm doing pressure to increase the OD...

Oh, nvm... Do you mean I should switch every week between pressure, JS and Passing?
