Lucky guy, we are so much to have never got any single good draftee!

Verlaenen was an 18yo TSP 47
Wauthier was an 18yo TSP 45
Lamotte was an 19yo TSP 58

The biggest task is to fit them together in a training plan that fits for all 3.

First off, congrats Takis, taking risks paid off, well done. Seems your choices were spot on, since you won

I was half suprised, i knew you would try something, rightfully so. And I should have done better with my choices. Also my shape was not as good as the previous weeks (which is a mystery to me), though it was not low at all - i think we were pretty even. I also had to play away at @CLips a few days before, so for sure so my enthousiasm was a bit lower then yours, but still quite high.


That said, I've never seen the 2-3 zone to prove this efficient and my outside players should have done much better - again here, i'm surprised, but again, none of Takis's business, full credits to him.


What I'm really struggling to understand however, is the engine's consistency.

1.a. LV Clips comes with (at least) the same enthousiasm as me in the cup, along with a better form. He CTs me, i lose Preobrazhenskiy after 6 minutes and i win by 19. No offense @Takis, but i think LV is as strong as he is, and so i don't get how a 2-3 zone and a good guess are enough to turn it around by 23.

1.b. Last Saturday, my enthousiasm is as high as can be, i play normal vs TIE, and i only win by 5. Go figure.


2. Takis loses an away game in PL by 13, and i win against the same opponent, also away, by 11 - in both cases same strategies and (from what i can see) the opponent having a better form.


Maybe I'm blind, maybe i'm totally wrong, or stupid, probably somebody has a good explanation. Either way, i think i'm just tired of this game. I've been playing consistently since 2009 (didnt pay much attention to the game the first year) and i think these kinds of inconsistencies (along with the site problems and the rigidity of the rules in place since forever) are getting the better of me.

Of course it's not over, Takis's CT means he's gonna struggle against SL and LV. But i stil have to play C3C away too. And my point difference is lower, so we'll see - but i'll keep fighting for sure.


Bottom line, @Joe i think i'll be at your disposal for the NT academy rather sooner than later. In case you are still motivated too.

Thanks. Indeed I had to try something and this is an achievement I am proud of, I am also very happy that Brakoniecki was the player who missed the crucial 3pointer. Serves him right! At least even if I don't win the title I would have done my duty.

+58 is a nice difference but probably not enough. I was happy when it was around +130 but you then got some unexpectedly large victories on the road to reduce the margin, so I rather hope Sgolba will beat you . He will play at full strength as he is the reigning champion and cup winner and because this win (+against BBB) will probably qualify him for the POs.

I agree there are some irregularities: I still cannot understand how Amenra defeated me in the 3rd final with injuries and players in foul trouble from the 1st half who never got their 6th, nor can I understand how teams of 5 players can win trophies. For the rest I think you are over-analysing the game. As in real life you can have 2 teams play 5 times between them and have very different results and the scenario of A beating B who beats C who beats A is quite common. And that's a good thing, otherwise this sport would become as boring as football!
