That is clear and its normal that some people are for the idea and some are against it.
But if it is a case like here, where the majority likes the idea, I do not see anyting bad to implement it.

If you think the ones against this change are wrong then you should prove it and not simply say it as if you hold the truth. Or you could find a way to improve the proposed change by taking into account some of their arguments/fears, or maybe implement a test phase in a smaller market (for example the staff) to see what the real consequences of such a change are.

But summarizing the opponents as if they were people against any change and whose arguments are false or extremely unlikely does not help the debate. Even more coming from the CM that you are.

some of the managers that were against this wanted to see a sample first, not a full over haul new system for bids. But that idea was also shot down too. Both sides shot down one another’s counter point. Same result in the discord too

I appreciate the effort to summarize all the changes that have been made, but to me this list proves precisely CM-Alonso point

Those are very small changes which doesn´t change at all anything in a structural way. And I want to point out that I don´t want to discredit the work made by Buzzerbeater bosses. That´s not my intention. But if you think that this list are changes then we are in a very differente position regarding of the meaning of changing something

On the other hand, about the controversial topic about if a 53% against 47% is a great majority or not, it could be argue both sides. In this world most of the deccisions are made with much worse differences than 53 against 47. In fact, democracy is not de form of goverment where everybody is equal, but the type of goverment where rule is decided by majority, and by definition usually majority is being considered 50% plus 1 more. Do you think that in some occasións that´s is not enough? All right, then define when is not enough and perhaps we could even agree on that

Please, we musn't loose de human factor on the bid system. The most exiting thing is to know that other person is biding and the figth between. How many bids ends with a BBmail wiht something like "Well, the player is yours, enjoy it" and you don't even know if its genuine or sarcastic.
