What do you guys think? Im planning to train passing to 4 at least. I want to make him a PF, becuase I have to finish my old trainees anyway. After passing, I plan to train ID for the rest of the season so that he wont get blown out in league games.

I dont really like him because of the fact that his handling and passing are really low your probably have to spend 3/4 of the season on that if your planning on training him into good PF

Some 1vs1 for forwards and the Driving and Handling of him will raise very fast with the addition of JS and IS.

I plan 3rd to be a PF. I figured that with his height JR would take whole season to get to respectable (with luck and elastic effect). Wouldnt it be better to make him great passer/high driving player instead so he wont take stupid shots from a distance? I am still torn between that and training JR, but whole season spent on it will mean holes in other skills.

This season I am doing OD until profilic and then one on one until the end, but not sure if i should go for inside skills or something else next one.

By the way. I looked at stats of some PF's with respectable JR and some with pitiful JR and high IS, and shooting percentages were pretty much equal (even for 3 pointers!!!). Of course the player with pitiful JR took 2-3 times less 3 pointers (1,5-2 per game less), but I guess he just decided to take them when he was really open and still put respectable percentage. This is my little research that makes me believe that with good passing and driving, shooting percentage wont drop, because player will just make smarter choices. What do you think about that? (i am aware that more the better, but that statistic makes me doubt if whole season of training should go to that)

you might be right. so you are saying that you would value 5 pops in JR more than 8 pops in any others kills (except for OD and handling since they are also slowed down)

good luck with your trainee then. until Medows caps (trainee number 2) i am doing outside training. hopefully trainee number 1 doesnt cap by then but its unlikely, so he will end up as outside oriented SF with great OD. Anyway. I am excited for next season. I will need 1, or even 2 new trainees then, and hopefully I can get great ones to train alongside Bradshaw.
