Yeah, I am not a team that tends to light up the scoreboard. I tend to have poor shooting percentage, great defense, great rebounding.

I thought it was odd that in our side of the bracket only one home team won. Will see how that continues through the season.

Any other away teams sucking it up financially as bad as I am? Money is very tight for me already and I am looking forward to some home revenue. Also looking at ways to cut costs staffwise as my lvl 6 overpriced trainer is costing me nearly 50k a week.

A long run in the cup is definelty needed as well as some fat trimming. I would hate to do it but I may be forced to cut my scouting budget.

Just cut the scouting budget now, chances are you're drafting pretty late and getting crap anyway.

Just go ahead and cut that center of yours ;)

Well, honestly only have 255k team salary with 6 players basically, is hurting me. I've had 2 poor seasons now that my fans aren't too happy with mediocrity so they don't show up.. thus bringing me in zero revenue and toby is getting restless..
And not to mention the fact that Gregorio Piexe was not expected to reach the 40k salary mark this season with absolutely no outside game.. I didn't think def and passing alone would earn him so much money.
And that hurt me. Not to mention I got stuck in 5th seed last season bringing in no income all through the playoffs and offseason..
If I don't do any better this coming playoffs I'll be forced to sell someone i like =/

I haven't had income troubles in about 3 seasons now. And this season, I'm definitely at an advantage money wise. I've shed about 37k a week off selling my 4 post players. BUT, now I'm just hoping I stay in this league... lmao.

Definetly holding Jairo until I see the the merchandise numbers tommorow. I am hoping they put me in the black along with todays home game attendance, if not I am completely reliant on my cup run to keep my roster intact. I think the only nasty suprise I got salary wise was Halim, he popped faster than I thought he would at the second half of the season last year and hit some numbers that set him up as pretty expensive. If he progresses like he should this year I can definetly see needing to shed him next year. 2 100k+ players on one team is probably not a smart thing.

As for staying up googily, aiming for the 6th seed is not a bad spot. You get at least a home and away game to split and have homecourt advantage which is usually decisive. Unless you crunch time twice in row in an act of retardation prior to the end of the season. Don't be that guy.

No, im telling you just getting rid of Jairo will solve your monetary issues, and everyone else's problems in this league =)
Trust me, everybody would gain from it. And you could easily afford your salaries. Just buy a 60k big guy if your still training big men and train him, by the end of the season him and Halim will be real high paid, and with your team the way it is, you'll easily still win here with 2 60k centers, a 40k and your guards.

so, in summation - sellll Jairo!!
please, oh god please.

I escaped from your place with a win, 3 pts is not domination so I wouldnt worry too much. 25 pts and 18 rebounds did not sink ya either.

Yea, but i put more into it, and was at home and still lost. Maybe had a done a 2-3 zone i could've won, but barely. And thats sad, being home and putting more into. imo.
With googily selling his inside talent, that removed him as a top seeded team, i think he'll still make the playoffs, but i just don't think there is anyone else on this side of the bracket that can beat you. i predict you'll come out as #1 seed, especially if you have a long cup run and don't need to sell anyone... then i think you'll easily make your way to the finals, which chances are you'll have to go up against lilburn or FTSP which will be a very good series to watch, but again, if you can keep your roster without getting rid of any talent, i think you'll just win again.
But it'll be close.
I wont be much of a challenge till next season.
