6 of my 13 players are Americans. Americans are too expensive for scrimmages.

Not if you draft them. ;-)

I am going to pick up a cheap american 18 yr old today and see if my merchandise goes up at all. I need a minutes eater anyways so I'm interested in seeing the difference.

Well, if they don't fit what I am doing, I'll sell them.

For the sake of analysis, I sorted players with the biggest payroll in each position. here are the top 3 in each position:

TEAM PLAYER POSITION SALARY
magic Sean Ryan c 56792
gavno David Garnier c 53440
pistons Gregor Einheit c 48818

flyers Mariu Manni pf 57264
gavno Clay Chow pf 48684
pistons Nikos Vardinoyiannis pf 41158

pistons Oscar Buitrago sf 25690
hawks Alan Foote  sf 25206
magic Lino Gullo  sf 23498

illusion John Barr sg 44606
investors Gael Carmona sg 37140
hawks Vernon Salisbury sg 31126

steppers Jorge Alberto Mina pg 43136
magic Mitch Holloway pg 32244
hawks Jakob Bong  pg 22825

magic, hawks and pistons both have 3 players on the list. gavno is represented by 2, illusion, investors, steppers and flyers by 1 player each.

bumbul is no longer in this league and no longer the highest paid. richest kid of the league is mariu mannu of the flyers.

salaries are killing the teams this season so these guys better do something to deserve fat paychecks.

same here. I like being the underdog. I may not steal the glory but I don't mind screwing the best without so much as offering a reach around, ;-)

Someone mentioned it earlier, I think X-Steppers, that they are having the hardest time selling their players. I'm having the same issues and I've come to the conclusion that it's because my players are being overvalued when I pull up their page and I see that players being sold for X to Z amount. I never put the at the Z-amount but I still cannot sell. I'd rather not drop Vernon Partridge.

I got screwed over when i sold Briand for just 2mil, ive been trying to buy a sf ever since, and none of the guys that go for 2 mil are as good, hopefully i can get a guy by tomorrow though. Also the same thing is happening with Avalos as with your guys, It says he should go from 1,900,000 to like 2mil something, but its not gonna happen.

I looked at Avalos stats and he definitely should go for that amount but apparently the market is dwindling because I guess people are skeptical about the value of a player.

Lorenzo Capps is 30 years old and most players that were similiar to his skills were selling at 1.5M when they were 29 years old. At 30, he goes for no more than $1M and because of my lack of desire to sell off a player I completely overvalued, well, I cannot capitalize on his youth anymore.

I'm about to make a rule that once a player hits 28 years old, it's best to start shopping him and try to get as much as you can for him rather than holding out any hope that they'll bring you success.

The market is always most volatile right after the draft and before the first game. Give it a week or two and then re post Avalos and you will get more then the value. It is just volatile right now. some are short on cash others are just being stingy.
