unfortunately without a major facelift this game will not be able to retain new players and thus expanding ... its nearly impossible and scientifically impossible as well to get everybody .. BB's should make decisions and fast.

and you should give me the scientific studys you make :) A change just for the will of change is never good.

And maing skillups boring is for me not animprovement of the game, because i easily could predict the training, and i dont have to test anything more with the training.

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying here regarding "scientific impossibilities" and such. Anyway, the BB's are constantly improving the game. Considering the size of the BB team and the fact that they need to bring new people in, we should not expect any disruptive changes but a process of mostly incremental improvement for the time being. I think the recent changes (such as the new scouting/draft system) affect both the core game experience and the community in very positive ways. I don't know if there are any "facelift" plans (which I guess mostly means how the site looks and feels, right?), but some future improvements including updates to the game engine have been communicated earlier. Please take a look at the past news postings if you haven't seen them yet.

It is scientifically proven that u cant get everybody on this forum to agree all at the same time on one thing .. Probability in high school my friend!
Second thing, ur a GM and have been playing this game for too long you know the ins and outs whereas new joiners dont!

and maybe you should consider that i play the game so long because it was fun and like the oppurtunity for new joiners to have the same fun?

Understand everything is for me more a reason to quit, then just understand just the rough basics - because i like to learn and i like the excitement of a surprise.

the title is none-changing-game-engine changes.
The only one which might change how the GE works is the training method and as I have mentioned at the beginning of the thread I dont feel strongly about it but just a thought.
Yes this game needs face lift and not all of us will agree on what and how (and that is scientific impossibilities to get 1000+ people to agree on one thing).

What's fun for you might not be fun for someone else, and what might be fun for me might not be fun for X Y and Z.
you can't get everybody to like something just because you like it. Or else, the BB's wouldnt have introduced the Suggestion forum.
For me I like the game and you wont see me quitting anytime soon. But I realized and noticed and know a lot of people who have signed up and never signed up again. Well I dont have the numbers of course, but just from observation. Just go to the lower leagues and check how many drop outs rather than joiners.. and check also those joiners, how many of them actually did not sign in again.

but to implentchange just because of implenting changes ain't good for a game, thats like playing with an small kid who always change the rules during a game ;)

And probadly you don't get an 100% consens in a possible change, but you should forward to improve the acceptance of a feature through a change. So changing a system what 80% of the users like, to a system was 60% of the users like isn't an improvement in my eyes.

if that is the case you are absolutely right, but im sure many will agree with at least 5 of my 7 suggestions. (the other 2 being the training ones which up to a lot of debate and i wud debate against them as much as with them).

Are we talking about my suggestions or some other ones!?
I'd like to know how suggestion 1 2 3 6 and 7 will interrupt game play other than make the game more appealing?

One adds nothing to me, and team capitans ain't that important oin basketball that they really have an impact. The average fan often dont know them, so it is a useless change for me.

Two: Isn't bad, but honestly normally you don't trade so much and know which player are in your team so i don't see the need of such a pulldown

three: Would be fine, but i don't need it really ;) And there are lot of other thing would could be done first in my eyes, because it is hard to get usefull information out of it because tactics plays a much biger role here then in RL.

six i not sure what boundaries you want there

seven this information couldn't be provided because we have dynamic salarys in this game, and these new formula is calculated in the end of the season.

But thats mostly the i don't need it fraction ;)

Four would make the training update more boring to me, and maybe make it a bit to complex for beginners who maybe mattters.

Five would be a punch in the face for managers who sacrified games, to get an longtrm advantage against other team in training players out of position.
