There has never been a "coach" for peoples teams. People have often mistaken the trainer for the coach but all a trainer does is help skill pops.

The "coach" is really just the game engine and is the exact same for everybody.

I think its a great challenge to have something random in the game you cant control that can totally screw you up. Adds some thrilling moments to the game.

What I dont understand is his logic during blank lineup (you asociate noone) when you let him decide evetything. He then set every player into every position for a while, so your center will play like 4 minutes PG, 2 minutes SG, 14 minutes SF etc.

I supposte this is about current efectivity, so he like uses a weak moments of the opponent. But how can he know that in the next two minutes there will be effective to play center as PG? Does he plan even theirs actions, so it really matters?

in my cases he don't do that, most player play more then one position at that time but mostly they make sense depending their skills. but sometimes he takes weird decisions, in which players play which position so sometimes i see my SG on SF, my PG on SG and my guard like SF on PG. They could all play those positions, but it isn't optimal.

But overall those lineups works surprisingly well.

Exactly, that is what is strange about it.

While everytime I played this way, player was 15 minutes in his strongest position at most.

i believe it is because the coach includes the bench very well with it, because he makes exchanges every time he have the chanche to do so.

Indeed, while most of the time is team playing "out of positions" anyway. I mean they play like half match or more with 2-3 players out of position and still are very effective.

Well, maybe a whole match with 1-2 players like that, thats why is hard for me to understand what it is about.

maybe your coach is putting your best defender against their best shooter, or best inside defense guard against the best driver to the basket?:D

Sorry,I don't agree...what can be random is if a shot is X or O,not if a coach make an illogical decision or not

I think it is hard/impossible to code "logic" with the resources the game designers have.
