can you clarify what the 'winning basket' is defined as?

is it:
- the basket that puts the team in the lead
(i.e. if we take the lead at 2-0 and never relinquish the lead, this first scoring bucket is considered the "winning basket")
- or the basket that creates the numeric value/score that is higher than the losing team?
