I'm the same. But! With our current rosters we could have won titles already in III.15 and other easier leagues.

bit rough. III.15 is a fairly strong league

So I drafted these two players and obviously they are going to be my trainees. I haven't trained anyone up before so what would be an effective training plan to get the most out of BOTH these two players?

I recognise that that they have different heights and some different areas of need with regards to training, but i drafted these two young Aussies so i am determined to use them both for a long time.

I also want to get a third trainee off the transfer list but I'm not sure what kind of player to buy (a point guard, shooting guard or small forward? maybe even a train a stretch 4?), that will also fit whatever training plan i end up going along with.

Any advise i can receive on any of this will be greatly appreciated and everyone that contributes to this will receive a +1 ball

*I have a level 4 trainer*

If you are determined to keep them both, your best bet is probably to train OD for the whole season (because they both reeaaallly need it) then assess the training plan next season.

Their OD isn't great and the height of the 6'7" guy is an issue; however, they are both *really, really good* trainees as far as potential goes (and the hall of fame guy has good starting PG skills apart from that OD).

I totally agree with mllama - OD, single position, for the whole season. Play one guy for 48 minutes at PG in one of your league games (it's going to hurt your team's performance at the start) and the other for 48 minutes at PG in your scrimmage, and only train OD.

yeah i know they aren't a great match as training partners and that im being a bit stubborn in wanting them both but hey its a game and everyone has got to play it the way they want right?

Im not planning to train these guys for NT level or anything like that, im just trying to establish my first core group of guys to play with in the next couple of seasons. So basically train them as much as i can, as best i can, so they can help bring some success and hopefully a promotion in the future.

All good though. With a lot of training im hoping my hall of famer can become a decent starting small forward, my point guard can develop into a good starter and im trying to purchase a shooting guard to get as a third trainee

But yeah thanks mate for the pointer
