Last thing how do I know what the players potential is? like what do i click to reveal how many balls his potential is.
You click "interview" next to his stats.

Hall of Famers are not in each draft; and even if they are, not all of them are worth 1M. So a chance of getting one is really slim. Also you paying 10k per draft point (40.000 / 4 points = 10.000), which is the double of 10.000 for 2 points (5k per draft point). In your place I'd rather pay 10k/week and get same amount of points in two seasons and the other money I saved put into my arena, like guy above me said. Why?

Even if you get a HoF (very unlikely) and sell it for 1M (even more unlikely), you just invested 560k (40k x 14 weeks) and have 530k of surplus, while your arena is the same and you are losing money because you can't offer seats to people that want to watch your game.

This advice comes from someone who tried to do the same twice, so don't repeat my mistake Also I'm a U21 manager now and I get to see how little HoFers are each season drafted. This season, there were ten out of 550 teams, which means ten out of 1.650 players. Do you really want to take those chances?

Yes, but if you want to take a game of chances, you should take the 100% approach (build your roster through training and veterans, expand your arena) and not the 0,00165 approach or whatever the chances are of hitting a HoF.

It's moneyball vs. powerball, and moneyball is the way to go.

(I'm not sure if it's a common term outside the US but powerball is a lottery game where people can pay one or two dollars for a ticket with a chance to win millions of dollars if their numbers are drawn, naturally at odds that ensure that the game is profitable.)

I agree. Our term is just plain "lottery". If you play "Hit or miss" game where chances are 50:50, I'd understand someone's incline to play that game. But if "Hit" 's chances are 1:1165, it's a bit different.

I will give u a free tip, u can't afford it at all. You are wasting $30,000 a week that should be put into your Arena (which has to be a contender for the worst div4 arena going. Stop wasting money and start building your arena (you are AT LEAST 5,000 seats short at this stage).

You do realize that his team was only 1 day old when you wrote this? How much $$$ do you think he wasted exactly? ;)

I do agree, he should put $$$ into his arena more so than scouting but he's almost certainly going to relegate to D5 anyways.

Please read my reply again, I agreed with your point about the arena just not the part where you accused him of wasting $$$ on his team every week. Considering he only owned it for 1 day. ;)

So you're saying you can't find a single week where he hasn't wasted money in all the time he's played BB? /thread

;)
