Arizona is definitely underseeded. That region is odd. The two best teams in my opinion are the 6 and the 8, and that's how im picking it.

As for Colorado/Illinois, I have trouble picking teams that can't win road games, considering the nature of the tournament. Also the Big Ten was a gauntlet, and a lot of the teams there play the slow, physical style of play that does well in tournament basketball. I lean towards Illinois in that one.

I think they may have tried to play up the madness this season, with the lack of a clear favorite. In one region you have KU, Georgetown, Florida, and Michigan as the top four, and in another you have Gonzaga, OSU, New Mexico, and Kansas State. It just seems to me like the seeding is set up for unpredictability rather than competitive balance.

Impossible you say?

You originally said that Wisconsin was going to knock out the Buckeyes and that Arizona would win the tournament. Both of those things can't happen. In order for Wisconsin to even play the Buckeyes, Ohio St. either has to beat Arizona or someone else does.

The Wisconsin comment was geared for the Ohio state game. Big ten title

I work 4am-11pm so news eludes me during work days.

I completely agree.

The seedings make me feel like Vegas wasn't making enough on betting so they had to change it around

Edit:

Illinois tended to be blow out when they lost.
CU was only blown out at Kansas and at cal.

Everything else was within 10.

Illinois also doesn't rebound or shoot high enough fg% for their rebounding to take Colorado I feel.

I'm a die hard Michigan fan but.... THEM BOYS NEED TO REBOUND. REBOUND. REBOUND. Play some D for.... SAKE! If they can do that, they can make it to the Final game honestly, but they need to get their act together, box out and get the board, don't get out rebounded by 20. Trey Burke can't do everything!!

How far do you all have Indiana going? I think they are a talented team, I just don't think they are Final Four worthy.

You actually think I have no clue what I'm talking about??? You can't say "I thing Wisconsin knocks out Ohio St." then immediately say "Arizona is gonna win it all" THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! I don't need to check game logs or schedules to figure that out.

I like Michigan's chances too. They don't have great bigs, but their guards are the best in the country and I feel like they are a forgotten team. Well see though because as they say defense wins championships.

I think IU might lose in the 3rd round if they have to play NC State. NC State can match them at every position and has the athleticism to beat IU.

NC State is pretty symbolic of the entire field this year, I think. NC State could easily beat Indiana, but they could also pretty easily lose to Temple.

Illini fan here, so there's that. But yeah, I don't think whoever said CU was a better team than the Illini was thinking straight, more consistent maybe, but when they are both at their best the Illini can play with anybody, CU not so much...

Other thoughts for the tournament:

Can't wait to see the 1st round matchup between Burke and Wolters, should be a good chance for Wolters to get some airtime, either gonna play huge or fizzle I'm guessing.

Got Indiana over Duke in my final.
-NC State hasn't played to their potential all season, they may be able to match IU's athleticism, but I don't think it'll be enough.

My 'surprise' pick is Wisconsin coming out of the West, with in my opinion their biggest challengers being OSU and KSU. Gonzaga I feel might be a little rusty, and New Mexico(along with the entire Mountain West) I feel got a little overhyped, I don't remember anybody in the entire league with any big non-conference wins.

Double digit seeds I feel are advancing: whoever plays Memphis, Iowa St, Oklahoma, Minnesota.

We'll see I guess though :)
