If Lockdown D stops taking it easy, he's got the title wrapped up. Either way, winner is coming out of the Blue division

Well sadly I agree. What little chance I had disappeared when I checked the box score to find that the GE had not loaded properly...again...and it had put my enth as CT when I chose Normal. If the GE had done what I set I think I would have snuck the win and---if I got the win against the Villians---would have had a shot against the LLD lot as I still have a secret weapon lol

But alas, even if I beat the Villians---which I think I can---I wont go any further.

Ah well, it has been a bit more fun. Still have salary room to add another key player next season and the cash so all is not lost. Will have to see how this season pans out.

Goodluck to those still in the finals. Good luck to the Villians. I'm looking to sneak a huge away win ;-)

Well the Villains and I have a 1-1 record this season. However, the win I had against them at the start of the year was with a better team than I have now.

Still, should be a competitive game.

Should be a very interesting finals series if Lockdown D takes it seriously. You may have to game day prep again to eek it out but it's certainly going to be close!

Fingers crossed you don't go up so we can keep the forum going haha

Haha thanks Ben. I'm still pissed off about the GE not getting my enth right in the first final. It would have been very handy.

As for the finals against LockdownD...

...he will win it in straight sets I'm afraid. I'm not going to hand it to him on a platter but I think he will win both (that's right two!) games comfortably.

Given my late decision to have a crack, and giving up HCA, I'm happy to get some silverware. It will ruin my perfect GF record though as I've never lost a GF series.

Ah well, it's all good fun.

Well i was only 5 pts shy of s huge 1st game upset away win. The funny thing is after scouting him thoroughly i was convinced Lockdown would play LP. He had only played once from memory and had i preficted he would play LI (which i thought he might think) i would have stuffed given the difference in pace.

Ah well, need to secure second game now...if i can. What tactics to choose. What predictions to make? Fun, fun, fun!

Well congrats Lockdown on taking it out in two. I could have, and probably should have, done things differently. No excuses though; my team wasn't good enough.

Lockdown was the guy right from the beginning and he's done his time in Div III.

Deserving winner and you're right Mr Green, you could've changed tactics to just creep over the line but you wouldn't be well set up for Div II.
