Someone point to a game other than the walkover that we lost and couldn't have won. Seriously, we didn't miss out because of the players. We were out managed. I have nothing against Isiah but I think we need to look over all of our options before we make him 'eternal leader' as you are suggesting.
Obviously the days of choosing between multiple qualified managers is a thing of the past. I point no further than our last election.

What would you say you would have done differently with the NT these past 2 seasons, and what are the biggest changes you would make in your term if elected?

I definitely would have avoided all of those losses. What I bring to the table is tactical expertise. I constantly switch up the tactics which you will see in my past three seasons. And no this is not just changing for the sake of being unpredictable, there is a reason behind every choice. Look at my first finals game win in season 34, that manager had not used a 3-2 zone defense the whole season except for that game. He was 100% certain I would play outside. I won the series even though on paper his team is stronger. This is where I excel, in the tactical portion of this game. Yeah our National team may not have a collection of the best players, but that's where the managerial skill comes in. You can't just blame it on GS. My team's GS was not perfect in that series either, you have to learn to out coach the opponent. That's what has been lacking from the national team. The biggest change I would make in my term is our W/L record and a championship. It's all about tactics and lineup.

From the outside looking in, can you point to a specific game or two from just this past season that you would have played different tactically, and why? I'm just trying to understand how you would expect to play different tactics beyond what is optimal for the available players, even if that best tactic it LI against a double-guess.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Winnable doesn't explain what you would have done differently. I.e. Tactics, lineup, call ups, enthusiasm.

We had a week where we had 2 winnable games. But we really needed one. We got zero.

You supplied zero.

Yeah probably not going to make it to the finals of this thread!

I would of took the game against Australia and played decoy tactics in a probable loss to Spain.

Ok initially I wasn't gonna use the Spain game as an example, but since you brought it up I will talk about the Spain and Australia matches. Notice how in the Australia game we got outplayed in the 2nd and 4th quarter. Emphasis needs to be placed on players with higher stamina in order to be able to maintain leads as the match goes on. Without delving into too much detail I would have a Motion offense in that match. The weakness on that Australia team was the guards.

Against Spain, any tactic would have been more feasible than Low Post. Again without too many details and based on the Spain team, I would have played conservative and used a Base Offense. They were definitely expecting inside.

Didn't say it wasn't. But normal to secure the Australia game is the right move there. And you know it is. And who's to say what happens against Spain if we don't have 3 guesses against us? Maybe we wouldn't have needed the enth from the Australia loss?
