So you are saying that there is no hard cap for the size?
I`m asking this because when I wanted to build more courtside seats it said that 500 is the maximum. Based on this I`m assuming that (and asking) what is the maximum size of the arena.

If I was you, I'd sell that old czech player, you are on top of your competition anyways.

I joined Utopia this season and so far the experience sucks, I actually wonder why people are quitting small nations, because minor league play is frustrating enough. I still think that new teams need to be put in a winning position from day 1, although Utopia is a somewhat different thing...

My arena's just over 11k.

ridiculously big arena for a division IV, regardless of being utopia or anywhere else. even for divison II you would have to set your prices really low to fill it.

Not so big for Div III.

How many seats did you sell when you were in Div III? I doubt you have ever managed to sell out without dropping the prices for at least half of the full ticket prices. which means you made as much money with your 11k arena as someone with a 5,5k arena with full prices (the latter having spent some millions less to make the same money in the end).

Might want to chill on the condescension a tad... cheers in anticipation.

Until my SG was injured, and the losses piled on, I was seeing about 70-80% attendance (I think my highest was around 83ish%).

Sorry for the condescension. Anyway, I think you are facing a very common problem among managers in lower leagues who expand too much their arenas. Maybe the mantra "first of all expand your arena, first of all expand your arena" repeated ad nauseam around those forums is just a really bad advice.
